Delicious, fresh, authentic.
Once I ordered a veggie quesadilla with a side of grilled chicken. I was expecting it to be more basic and less flavorful compared to the other, more intricate dishes I had previously enjoyed. I was blown away by how good the quesadilla and chicken were.
The food here is phenomenal!! Literally the best wings I’ve ever eaten. Everything I’ve ever ordered has been delicious. Great portion sizes too. The staff is very nice and the service is great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We ordered these folks for a work lunch. We’ve ordered them before with no issue…. However this time around. I ordered 2 carne asada tacos and to my surprise. There was a hole ssa penny in one of my tacos. I bit down and thought what kind of bone would be in my asada?! Well it turns out to be a penny! I called to complain but they had no manager to speak to and told me to call back tomorrow. I don’t even know what to do at this point. My coworkers thought it was hilarious I guess given the fact that I didn’t die… just wild!
The pic is after I pulled it out my mouth mid bite…..

My BF took me here for my Birthday lunch. I had been here once before and was very happy with the food and service. In a strip mall it is attached to a Mexican Bodega which you should also visit. The menu is very extensive with all your usual dishes. This place seems more traditional than most other Mexican restaurants. My BF got an Asada Taco fully loaded and he loved it. I forgot the name of my plate but it was a combination of steak, chicken and shredded chorizo plus two fried eggs, rice, beans and a salad with guacamole. Oh, and fresh tortillas that were not too thin and not too thick. The dish was fulfilling and just the right size for each protein. I could have gone without all the onions on top but that’s just me. We sat at the bar as the ambience was very casual and my BF wanted an ice cold beer. The staff is wonderful and friendly. This place started small and has grown and that’s because of their amazing food and service. Give it a try if you want more authentic & traditional flavors.

The tacos with hand-made tortillas are delicious here.
I love eating here because almost the entire menu tastes delicious, it definitely tastes like Mexico 🥹 BUT 🫵🏻 on my FIRST VISIT I was served by a waitress (very friendly and physically pretty) however, she kept making advances to my stepfather about ME PRESENCE and moments later, in the presence of MY MOTHER (his partner). He flirted as hard as he could, he even (excuse the vulgarity) got up (insinuated her butt towards him). The truth is that it made us very uncomfortable, it was the WORST experience in a restaurant. I keep going because of the food and the design of the place, I have been served by more waitresses (all super friendly) and this has not been repeated so that snitching is not confused with courtesy, BEWARE. I have not seen her either, I hope she no longer works there because it is a shame as a woman and a lack of respect towards her person and the FAMILIES who consume.

It’s hard to find authentic Mexican food in west Winston but Los Juanes really outdoes itself! Not only are the dishes delicious and aesthetically pleasing, the atmosphere is great for getting some drinks with friends or celebrating a life event with family. All of the meats are super fresh, probably bc they have a Mexican meat market attached right next door but we recently had the torta and the bread was soft and had a fresh baked taste to it. For drinks I’d recommend de Michelada or the Palomas 😍 Just had their pozole yesterday for the first time and I was really impressed..tasted like someone’s mama made that 👏👏👏 Also Friday nights is live music night! Definitely recommend!

The food was amazing and the service was great. I got steak fajitas and they were absolutely delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food.
They also have a little store right next door that is a Hispanic grocery store.

The Los Juanes burrito is my go to favorite. I've been a dozen times or so and I've never had a bad experience or bad food. It's my favorite Mexican food spot in town.

Best hidden gem in the form of a Mexican restaurant. Food is always good, fresh, and full of flavor. Service also matches the quality of food.
