Ordered the carne asada tacos, chorizo gordita, and queso fundido and were very satisfied! Service was quick as well. We loved what we ordered and are excited to try other items on the menu. Glad to have a more authentic restaurant in Winston!

I never leave a review, but I am so impressed by this restaurant that I am taking the time. We stopped here on our way to Asheville. It is close to the highway. It is THE BEST Mexican food I have had in North Carolina, and I have tried a lot. The tacos and beans are top notch. The beans were so well flavored and a great sign of how good everything else is. We stopped here again on our way back home to Raleigh for to go food because it was soooo good. I’m from Texas and this is the first time I’ve raved about a Mexican restaurant in NC. Highly recommend!

Came for the 1st time for taco tuesday and I have to go back. The manager and staff were so attentive and kind. The food was delicious! (Tuedays the tacos and barria are 4 for $10 & house Margaritas are $5)

If you overlook the chips and salsa, the food is amazing. The chips and salsa are so bad, I would recommend you bring your own. But the carne asada, and birria tacos are awesome. So is the rice. But puleeese, por favor! Change your chip recipe and try a different salsa recipe!
My kids love tacos birria and Luna Playa did not disappoint! Also enjoyed the carne asada, and the jimaca agua fresca was excellent. We ordered an extra taco to go and we got complimentary flautas on top! Highly recommend.
