Children's plates was a larger serving than I expected. 3 large chicken tenders per kids plate. However, I ordered the fish and chips and only had one fish filet ?. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his lunch though- he ordered the Ribeye and it tasted like it was cooked on the grill in the back yard, delicious!

Our service was good, the waitress was friendly, the food was delivered timely and it was nice and hot. The sweet potato jalapeno hush puppies were delicious, the steak was tasty, my salmon was cooked beautifully, and all our sides were great. I especially liked the kimchi slaw and the green beans. We will go back!

This place needs some serious help. The place was dead during dinner and yet we waited over half hour for our food. The burger was practically raw and the mashed potatoes had zero flavor. One extra star for the waitress who was trying as she seemed to be the only one working. Will not go back.

The waitress was nice. The food took quite awhile to get to the table considering there were only a couple of people sitting at the bar and no one dining. I ordered the Ribeye dinner. The sides were great, however, the medium-rare steak was over cooked and tasted like an overcooked, charred burger.

I gave this local restaurant a shot twice in order to support local businesses during the pandemic. The first time their phones were down and I went into the restaurant to order inside. The bartender who took my order was very new and argued with me about whether or not an item was on the menu still, until he realized his mistake. He told me that they had changed the menu and had not yet updated the website. About 6 months later I ordered again, and assumed that they had updated the menu on their website. They apparently had not, and my burger was completely different than what it said on their own website. The manager on duty told me they were supposed to update the website six months prior and offered to remake me something else, but I declined having already been out to pick up dinner. She then pushed and tried to offer me a meal at a future date instead of a refund, because she didn't know how to process a refund. I declined again. She said she would make a call to find out how to do a refund and then disconnected me from the call. My Husband will be calling back to complete our refund.

We ordered the Roasted Pear salad, jalapeño sweet potato hushpuppies, poutine, tavern burger and shrimp and grits. DELICIOUS!! We'll be ordering again soon!!

Tried this place for the first time and won't be going back. My burger was so burnt it tasted like I was eating chargrilled sawdust..not to mention it was missing 3 of the 5 ingredients that top it.
The meal we had was perfectly prepared! A gourmet feast. Also had a great bar area. The decor is dark wood tones with TVs spread around. I liked it a lot and will go back!

While the service was great, their wine list was disappointing and the overall ambiance was meh. Especially considering the prices, which are too high in my opinion. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. Overall, not worth the prices they're asking.

My husband and I went to eat here last night. The food was awesome! Bartender was super nice and great personality. We loved the Jalapeño Sweet Potato Hushpuppies. The apple butter was amazing. Whoever came up with that idea is a genius lol. Definitely will be back. Hoping to continue to see live music and karaoke night in the near future?

Fantastic service, incredibly delicious food! I had the Tavern Burger with fries - juicy burger, crisp bacon, very flavorful. Definitely try the Jalepeno Sweet Potato appetizer...SO.GOOD.My new go to place when I'm on this side of town.
