Horrible customer service I ordered a California burrito. I’ve been ordering the same thing for forever different places however this place put fries in it so I simply ask them could you remake it without the fries? He wanna tell me no and give me an attitude about it when that’s just a simple fix and tell me I’m not right for what I’m doing like what I will never come back here.

Visited Restaurante El Marlin on Strafford Road in Winston-Salem, NC. The atmosphere was very dark with minimal lighting, which made the space feel less inviting.

Service was good — attentive and polite. However, I ordered a shrimp cocktail expecting something fresh and flavorful (especially from a seafood restaurant), but it was overly sour, as if it had too much lemon, and the shrimp themselves lacked seasoning.

I hope they can work on balancing the flavors and enhancing presentation, because the concept and menu have potential.

We went on a Sunday night, which is live Mariachi! Too loud for my crew, so we sat outside on the patio. The bar was quieter and really cool with the blue lights near the floor. It was really fairly busy with families, friend groups, etc. and our lack of Mexican language only impeded us slightly.
Now, the food! The seafood selection is amazing, especially for an inland restaurant. Lots of side cactus, plantains, amazing presentations. We all enjoyed our meals-ceviche shrimp tostada, fish tacos, and a beef enchilada with beans. I plan on bringing a bigger appetite next time.

The table was dirty, the waitress did not want to do her job even the menus were in bad condition, with unreadable places. Bad service, the food was pricey and not very flavorful. Might as well look for something else.

Pésimo servicio, los meseros muy mala representación y muy mal vestidos Si pides algo no te lo dan en su momento y sobre todo en ocasiones especiales para un cumpleaños no te atienden el mánager con un carácter de lo peor y más vendiendo cosas de baja calidad y quién sabe qué más no lo recomiendo para nada pésimo lugar

It was ok. The food wasn't fantastic. I expected something a lot better but the taste was average a bit salty. The portions were huge though and defently enough to take home as well.
Service wasn't terrific. I went with my family 15 year old son, 11 year old son, husband 8 year old daughter and myself. The waitress didn't speak to me or my daughter she only addressed my husband and my 15 year old which didn't make me happy. I'm sure it was in hopes that she would get a larger tip which wasn't the case.
My order was given to my wrong and part of my order when it did come was given to my 15 year old son instead of me.
Other than that it was nice. They play the music really loud so it's hard to have a conversation. Management was really nice.

Honestly I was worried after checking the reviews of this restaurant but my family wanted to go because of the live music, and I was surprised because the food it’s extremely tasty, the waiters where kind, and you can have a good time with your family, I have to admit it’s kinda expensive but it was worth it, I guess some people doesn’t have enough to eat here

Everything was delicious, good service, the young waitress treated me with respect, very efficient and they have very good costumer service. Very nice music too
