I enjoy getting dumplings at May Way after a walk around Reynolda gardens. You will find it among the storefronts of historic Reynolda Village. Seating is limited so you will want to eat at one of the many picnic tables under the old oaks in the village. The menu is small but everything is cooked to order and you will not be disappointed.
I cannot hype this place up enough. The prices are incredible, the food is mouth-watering, and everything is fresh and homemade. If there is one criticism, it is that it is essentially to-go only, as there is only a small bar to dine in, and if a line forms (there will be a line, give it 15 mins) you might be a little cramped. But, do not let this deter you from delicious dim sum in Winston-Salem, NC. My personal favorite was the Mala cold noodle salad, with a tangy peanut dressing and fresh sliced veggies paired with cold noodles. It was a great side on a hot summer day, like the other week. The only other issue to report is parking; it can sometimes be hard to find parking in Reynolda Village, but I encourage you to stop and swing by this place, as any hassle to get to it is exceeded by the delicious food you will receive.
Growing up in New York City, I can only remember one restaurant in Chinatown, which offered itself solely as a dumpling house. And of course years later, if you were heading out to Fire Island or to the Hamptons, you always stopped in Chinatown first and got cold noodles in sesame sauce for the trip out. I have found a restaurant which turns out just as good a product as what I had all those years ago. The hot and sour soup was indeed hot, but each spoonful seemed to pull up a meaty flavor. As for those dumplings, they were filled with chicken and just as good as the beef dumplings I had grown used to over the years. On my next trip out, I will go for the Cold Noodles. I discovered the richness of Reynalda Road on my first visit one week earlier, but missed this little gem in the process. Fortunately, I caught it the second time around.
This tiny little dumpling shop has a big following, especially with the college crowd. Their food is freshly prepared, quick, delicious, and reasonably priced. There's a small area to sit inside and a few tables outside. Try it, especially if you're in a hurry.

I eat beef noodles and fried pork dumplings
The portion size is in line with the price and delicious
The disadvantage is that the noodles are served in a large plastic cup and the fried dumplings are thick-skinned and not juicy enough.

Super cheap food, but you get what you pay for. It tastes like chemicals and microwave food, and after eating what ever additives or cooking stuff they used made me and my girlfriend pretty sick. Good for if your on a budget otherwise avoid it for sure. The staff also got my order wrong 3 times which was fine since people make mistakes but then he yelled at me for it?

The last time I went here the guy who was working told me, very hatefully, that nothing they serve is vegan. He wouldn’t give me any more information than that and was very rude towards me for simply asking for clarification.
This is a cute little privately owned company. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very inviting.
