We found this lil gem via yelp but reguardless of what anyone said we still went! Yes the wait is a lil long but the food is delicious. Yes it's a lil small and not enough room for people to sit and wait but let me tell you by the time you get to your table it will be ALL worth it. We got to our table after talking to another couple in the waiting. Get to know the people around you makes time go by really fast. Well back to what I was saying. We got to our table and they quickly bought us water. Few mins and the waitress came and we knew what we waited and ordered everything at one time. From the appetizers to dessert was deeeeeeelicious!!! Dinner was a amazing felt like we were in Miami, FL the staff was super friendly even the owner came around checking to make sure everything was good. Thank you Miami Restaurant for your hospitality and sharing your delicious food. To everyone just because some have had bad experience don't let it effect your thought.

A bit hiddn away so I've passed by it a few times but glad that I stopped in. Delicious food and nice portions. Service was slightly slow but still in and out quickly for lunch.

Great, authentic Cuban food. Mojito is excellent. I recommend arriving early as the location is small and will quickly fill, leading to very long wait times.

While I had been here once before and really enjoyed the food, my family of 5 had a really disappointing experience this weekend. We arrived and asked for seating for 5 including our three children (3-12 years old) and after the staff had a conversation among themselves, we were offered a table for 4 and a separate table for 2 and told that they wouldn't put the tables together. I asked about being seated together in a booth and was told that we couldn't be seated there. The whole point of going out to eat dinner as a family is to eat together and it was disappointing that they chose not to try to accommodate us or act as though they were even concerned. I would have thought less of it if they were busy, but there was only one other table. We won't go back.

This place was delicious! Yes, you will have to wait, but in my experience it was so worth it. The madores are devine. Try the red sangria! I will definitely be returning. Eat local!

With the limited number of decent restaurants, this spot is a must! Great food, decent service and honestly surprised that there is a legitimate authentic Cuban Restaurant within the city limits of Winston Salem. Try the ropa vieja and get their sampler. It legit sums up Cuban food in one dish.

Excellent service. No long wait. Food is incredible. I will be back. I tried Cuban cooking for the first time in Key West Florida. This restaurant is even better.

Changed from 5-star rating. Food remains excellent, but the service is absolutely terrible. We once arrived right when they opened for dinner. We were there first ones there, but yet, due to staffing issues, the owner or host had us wait 10-15 mins just to be seated, when she very well could have seated us herself. During busy hours, it can take well over a half hour to 45 mins get your food. I used to love this place but stopped going after being disappointed with the service on multiple occasions.

Changed from a 5-star rating. The food is still some of the best Cuban food I've ever had, including in Miami. The service has just gotten progressively terrible over the last two years. They can't seem to seat more than three tables without the entire operation falling apart. The food takes forever to come out, which is mind boggling because most components of all the dishes are prepared well in advance of service. Don't even bother ordering their delicious cocktails, because you won't get them until you're halfway through your meal.

Don't come here hungry! We waited an hour for a table plus another hour for our food, including the bread because they ran out. How could they be so unprepared for dinner service on a Saturday night? The good news is that when the food finally came it was excellent. It was piping hot and literally just made - totally fresh. We ordered the vaca frita, a Cuban sandwich and flan. I definitely want to go back to Miami to try more menu items because everything really looked so good. Our server Miles was great but unfortunately the kitchen is very, very slow, so I definitely wouldn't return on a Saturday night. Between the long wait and absolutely no parking, I suggest arriving early as you'll need way more time than you think.

True Latin experience, just like momma would make at home. Food was excellent, great service, and value. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for true Puerto Rican, Cuban or Dominican cuisine.

Stopped in today for a late lunch. They were happy to seat us even though it was close to closing time. And the food was truly excellent! Very full of flavor and really nice presentation. Our server was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning.

My first visit here was amazing and I have been an advocate of this restaurant until a few months ago. The food is amazing and one of the best Cuban restaurants I can find in North Carolina. However, my last visit with about 10 friends was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in terms of customer service. Never have I been to a place that does not care about customers, or be more willing to help us if we did not have a good experience. We were the FIRST people in the restaurant. We were there 10 mins before it opened because I was so excited to show my friends how good the food is. Yet, it took about 1 hour for us to get our food, and about 2 hours for all of us to get our proper order. They ran out of black bean rice (special for the day) and had to make more. Why did they run out if we were the first people there? Because they decided to service the rice to other customers before us and ran out. This is not acceptable as one of the first group of people at the restaurant. In total, we did not leave the place for three hours (okay, we talked about 1 hour, that's fine). But to take so long to get us our food and checks is not acceptable. Go if you have 4 or less people. More than 5 will be a nightmare. Not a good place for birthday dinners / events.

Home away from home. My fiance and I are from Miami and this was absolutely delicious. The flavor, presentation and atmosphere was top notch. Will be returning. WON'T and I mean WON'T find nothing like it.
