I was impressed with their hurricane roll,.and they had pretty sold service.

Food was plain and very tasteless . Also very expensive for so little food. And then $1.50 for a small thing of ginger sauce ? . I spent $30 on two plates and I’m very disappointed.

We drove 30 minutes specifically for the sushi and left with no sushi. My husband order teriyaki chicken and I ordered a tuna roll and sunset roll. His plate came out fairly quick so I figured mine was almost ready. I sat for 30-45 minutes waiting for my sushi. I got so mad we just paid for his food and left. And of course right as we’re walking out the door my sushi just happened to be ready. Their excuse? “We have a lot of to-go orders.” No one checked to make sure our table was okay, no one told me if they were working on my sushi. I had to flag down a waitress just to get a refill. It was awful. Ended up going next door to Lowe’s Foods for sushi.

Terrible service, waitress was rude and lacked basic customer service. Restaurant had distinct odor water stains all over ceiling. Maybe the sushi is good but anything other is bland and tasteless and not worth the money. Waited over 15 minutes for just a refill. Place is a joke.

The food here was horrible and tasteless. The service wasn’t the best. I don’t know exactly how they have five stars it may be for their sushi but it sure as heck wasn’t for their Japanese food. I still have the nasty taste of blood from the uncooked meat. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this for any human or your pets if you like to feed them table food here and there.

Worst service For mediocre food in a long, long time! There were maybe 2 people in the restaurant when we entered and one couple waiting in line in front of us. It took us at least 5 minutes to get seated (don’t know where the hostess was?). Then our waitress took a while to wait on us (I could see her checking her phone every few minutes during our “experience”). She then had to return twice for us to remind her of what we had ordered. Keep in mind there were very few people in the restaurant. We also placed a “to go” order at this time. It took forever to get our food. They ring a bell when it’s ready and our waitress didn’t hear it because she was checking her phone, again. When we finished I asked for our “to go” order and then had to wait an additional 15 minutes to get it?. I will never return to this place and if you’re smart, you won’t either. I’m surprised they are still in business, with all of the bad views I’ve read. I would rather go into Lowe’s next door and buy their prepackaged sushi than get it from here!

No alcohol/reduced menu. Tough times for Miyakos. Was a fan of this place but not sure I can keep supporting. Waitress all but pushed us out, even with reduced menu they still did not have some items.

One of my favorite places for delicious Japanese food. Certainly a top place in the area.

Ordered take out. The sushi wasn't fresh and the chicken was terrible.

worst experience ever. horrible service. my waitress was loaded. no one paid attention to us. our order was incorrect because the waitress was incoherent..... the staff noticed she was off and were just laughing at her. the food portions were small and didn't taste well. they were out of half the items. my husband's sushi was made incorrectly and they're not very clean. I brought this to their attention and they still charged us the full amount....

Observations:Sanitation score 91.5, not great.Waitress- wearing face mask only covering mouth and chin.Sushi chef- face mask hanging from ear while prepping uncooked food and walking through restaurant to deliver food to tables. No gloves.Hibachi chef- no mask.Soap dispenser in men’s room, empty.Very old jelly beans left on chalkboard at entrance. Like, seriously, old.The food- not bad, not great, probably comes with a side of Covid and facial hair, cheap.I hate wearing a face mask but these are the times we’re in...

We didn’t enjoy it. They were out of all soups and a few other menu items. Appetizer dumplings tasted strange and my teen boys that normally eat any and everything didn’t even finish them. Salad was just lettuce and carrot slivers. Sushi took a while but was pretty good. First entree came 30 minutes into the meal and mine came 15 minutes later. Boys were finished eating before I even got mine. Hibachi entrees were mostly sticky gummy fried rice. Shrimp were tail on and mixed into veggies. To top it off, they do not serve alcohol. If you serve subpar food, are missing menu items and hold us hostage and hungry, the least you can do is give me a glass of wine to wash down the disappointment.

I called to place an order, the phone rang but no one ever answered.. I called back multiple times but got the busy tone even within calling minutes apart. I drove there finally and informed them I was trying to place an order over the phone. The girl at the front desk stated she know... she couldn’t answer the phone because she was busy. So I assumed she had the phone off the hook. There were only 2 tables occupied. Plus when I came in she was talking for minutes with other employees.. so idk how she was so busy.... now the food... small portion of everything. The vegetables and shrimps were super plain. The shrimp tasted gunky like they were not done. I will not go back. Disappointed.
