Mo’s Chicken & Grocery 2 Go

Mos Chicken, gizzards, okra, wedges, fries, (whatever else they have) will have you coming back everyday if you don’t have leftovers! I wish they had a restaurant cause the food is just that good I wanna sit down and eat! I don’t even wanna wait until I get home 😂

Great chicken and taters!

I went at night time, not a good time for everyone. Some may prefer to go during the day. This is a small “Bodega” type place. They have some chips & snacks on racks and drinks in the refrigerators, that is all self serve. The chicken and potatoes is on display but they have a few other items available. They sell out quick and keep a constant flow of people coming in to order. You order at the counter, mine came out quick as it was already made. Some orders you have to wait for. Not sure what language they speak but their English is limited. Almost all dinner orders come with the potato wedges, dinner rolls and a 2 liter choice of soda…….No Diets available……just saying. They will ask if you want hot sauce with it, Yes Please! The chicken pieces are small but incredibly delicious. Not overly seasoned or coated. Crunchy on outside and tender meat. The wedges are not huge but not small either. They are just the right size and decent seasoning, could have used a touch more. They are tender and perfect size. They have a great reputation as far as the chicken is concerned, that’s why I made my way over here. Chicken alone, I would have given them 4 stars. The reason for 3 is because of the outside atmosphere, people begging for mo ey and food. Which I actually purchased a meal for one of the gentleman. Do t be surprised by the strong smell of weed. This is a hole in the wall, but if you’re in the area during the day, it’s the perfect lunch spot. Everything is “To Go”. There is no dine in capability. I will definitely order a tray for Super Bowl!
I was so hungry and eager to try the wings that when I got home my kids jumped on it and help me devour them and I then realized I never took a picture….smdh!

I walked in with my son we were the second customers in line to order and a group of people come in several different customers and we don't get to order at all during our time the cigarette service sucks so we walked out and went else were if it's your first time ordering here don't

My goodness! If you're looking for the fried chicken that will make you stop and hum a little song, this is it. Well-seasoned, hot, and good chicken is the only way to describe it! It's the best in Winston-Salem!

Fried chicken wings are seasoned to the bone and I love the fried shrimp. Food always hot and ready when called in ahead.

Place is always packed and they are cooking the chicken as you order. We mostly get the 50 piece wing dinner. It comes with wedges, a 2 liter, and dinner rolls. The fellas are very friendly and helpful. Will keep coming here for sure.

Chicken was naked not really seasoned seasonings with sprinkled on the top after cooked not style of chicken
