Monte De Rey Mexican Restaurant

I've been here many times. The last couple of times there has been a rude, heavy set, older lady what loves to argue at the door. She's always very rude for no reason. I don't know her from Eve. I'm tired of it. There are other places to get good Mexican food where they aren't mean to you.

Food was ok, but the service was some of the worst I have experienced at a Mexican restaurant. Maybe they were short staffed, but there were empty cups waiting for refills and food was slow to come out. Just disappointed.

We used to enjoy this restaurant, however when we went recently the salsa seems to have changed (it has almost a chemical after taste now), the cheese and meat dip we ordered seemed ill proportioned, and the usual dishes we ordered just didn't seem to taste the same.

Ordered taco salad.. the meat was very salty and cold … I asked if chips and salsa came with it ??? Lady said yes .. when they brought out to me she said “oh no cause you order just one “ I would have ordered them had I not asked if they come with it !! I won’t go back !!

I went to place a To-Go order at the Kernersville location. I ordered a guacamole regional and a large salsa but only got one bag of chips. When I asked for another bag the gentleman proceeded to argue with me and said the large salsa doesn’t typically come with chips.. he asked if I “understood” and I told him “No, I don’t understand. You want me to eat the salsa with a spoon?” He did end up giving me another bag and I thanked him, however he did not need to argue with me because I ordered the exact same thing before from the same guy and he had no issues giving me 2 bags last time. Also, if the large salsa doesn’t come with chips maybe next time inform the customer BEFORE they place their order that they will need to eat the salsa with a spoon…

Food is always good, everyone who works there is super nice

Treats paying customers like trash. Take your business elsewhere.

There's absolutely no reason why you all should be in business treating people the way you do. I will be notifying the BBB. Have the day you deserve.

Food was good but server was rude. When asking for something she said we'll give me a minute I'm really busy but she didn't have tables. The other server that had more tables was more nice than she was. Would never go back. Please don't expect a tip if you are giving horrible service with an attitude

I absolutely love the tacos and acps here. The food and staff are excellent. I always make sure to stop by monthly

They have several of these in the area, and they're all good. Stop in & check one of them out. Great food.

Food was delicious...very well prepared with a nice presentation. We did visit on Cinco de mayo, but however, they didn't seem to be overwhelmed with patrons. I do have to give 3 stars for service because the service was terribly slow. Multiple tables complained. Other than that, I would recommend.

Rude waitresses. Gave us wrong drinks and wrong food.

Food was good. Salsa was fantastic!

I ordered a steak california burrito for take out. It was not until i got home to eat that I realized it was made with chicken. The flavor was good, but I was dissappointed my order was not done correctly.
