Favorite restaurant that I’ve ever been to. Love the shawarma pita!
Great locationAmazing foodWonderful serviceDefinitely get a lamb dishMythos beer is a nice flash backBe sure to get coffee if you can spare a late caffeine boostTry to sit outside if it is niceMight bring a more downtown feel to the Mediterranean taste
Love the food. It was close to closing so customer service was a little bit off but food is always on point! The Jezebel is my favorite ?
Only one server for a relatively full house when I visited, but she still did a great job! Only a moderate delay in receiving our food.
The food was pretty good, but it was Mediterranean style food that was trying to be fancy. I wouldn't call it authentic, just a themed food if that makes sense. On top of that, it was order at the counter and they bring you the food. So everything was kind of expensive, especially for having to get your own drinks and silverware. Can't say it was bad, but can't say that I would return.
Menu choices are excellent and the food is always fresh. If you are in a hurry, call ahead because lines can get long, but well worth it!
The food and the service was incredible. Everything was fresh and light. The service was prompt and courteous. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We are definitely going back.
What a fabulous place to grab lunch! With a well-organized menu and lots of different options for everyone from meat lovers to vegans, this is the kind of cafe you can take a whole group of people with vastly different dietary preferences and find something for everyone.
Great food! I don’t think I’ve ever had a less-than-stellar experience here. Sometimes wait times can be long, but that’s what happens when you follow the crowd.
The falafel is very good. The rest of the food we had was just ok. The shawarma tasted like normal beef tips, and the kafta tasted like a frozen meatball from the grocery store. However the falafel is a buck a piece. That's worth it.

Very nice people, great food and easy vegan choices!
Love Mediterranean food, and had many times in NewYork but First time in this one in Winston Salem North Carolina. First, Falafel was over cooked and so hard to bite it almost broke my teeth. I complained to the waitress and she said when you covered and soaking with sauce, it will soften up. It was no way! I just don’t know why? Fries food is bad enough but when you over frying it, the color became deeper and texture became harder. It might be also left over one and just reheated in the microwave because it didn’t seem fresh cooked for me.
Great vegetarian and vegan options. Great local beer selection.
The baklava was a little bit dry, but the rest of the food was wonderful!
I have been to Mooney's a few times for lunch and it is exceptional every time. Would definitely recommend.
