I hadn't been in a while and they had so many options. The menu was clear although some items were seasonal which wasn't stated. They were training a new hire which was very friendly. The food was good. I got the 10 piece wings, fries, corn, and peach cobbler which was really good. I also ordered the gizzards which were a bit salty to my liking but the texture was fine. They had an [A] food rating. The inside looks like it needs investors. The drive thru was closed on memorial day Friday due to staffing. Not all the food looked appetizing. Worker went outside and didn't wash her hands coming back in. Had chicken and wedges that tasted ok, but I probably won't be back.
Forget KFC, Popeye's, Churche's, or any other chicken place. These folks know how to fry some great southern style chicken. We love not only the chicken, the gizzards and livers are OFF-THE-HOOK!!! The staff is always willing to help, but carry their own sarcasm, which is always amusing to me. This is my favorite chicken place ever!
