I had a strong craving for BBQ so I stopped in and got Ribs and Collards.The ribs were dry and I mean dry! The had grill marks on them as if they were put on the grill to make hot. The collards were yellow, bitter and way too sweet (too much vinegar). Plus they had nothing in them, no ham hocks, no meat, just greens. The worst $26 I have ever spent. To think I spent that to get good BBQ sauce, which was the only thing that was good. If I was feeling better I would have brought it back cause there is no denying how dry they were.

Mom and I come here to eat after shopping! The food is delicious, this is the only bbq I will eat! Your staff is wonderful always smiling. I love to see their friendly faces knowing we will have a very enjoyable meal! Love Mr. Barbecue!

Some day I'll remember to get a to go box for all of the abundance of meat they put on these sandwiches! That way I'll have meat for the next day. Alas, until then I'll just eat the whole,overloaded sandwich and go take a nap.

I would go back next time I have the chance to show you I’m real. The pricing system is weird from my perspective, but it might be a strategic move for you. (Based on my memory from last week) The brisket plate with 2 sides is like 16 USD. But the bulk order for half pound bricket is only 13? The brisket plate has about 1/6 pound, so the prorated cost should be about 4 USD for the meat itself, then you add two sides, maybe 7 USD? That’s 11. People would be better off buying the bulk half pound and share between 3 people and buy the sides separately. But I can see how from a pricing strategy perspective, it makes sense to price the plate combo at that price point since not everybody is gonna eat the same thing or feel comfortable sharing. Hope this explains. 3 star isn’t low by the way. The best sushi restaurant chain I like in Japan often has 3.3-3.5 on google and there’s always a line.
The barbecue was excellent. The hotdogs 🌭 were ok. The service was great and the people were really nice!
