WOW, is this good!!! The garden salad with thick "steak-like" slices of lettuce and large cuts of veggies and one of their recommendations, Chicken Tikka. The flavors are beautifully blended, and I chose my level of spice and it's perfect. The long-grain rice is cooked to perfection. Light and fluffy. I'm in town for business and when I come back, this place is on my must revisit!!

We just recently came here for the first time although I had been wanting to try Nawab for a long time. I wish we had tried it sooner because it is everything I wanted it to be and more! The Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Coconut Curry are my favorites, especially with a side of garlic naan that has just the right amount of garlic goodness. It's the ideal sidekick to soak up every last bit of those mouthwatering curries. I could eat this every day and not get tired of it! Our waiter was great as well, he came to us multiple times to check and see if everything was to our liking. I personally love spicy food but am always cautious when trying a new place because I don't want to assume I can handle everything. The medium spiciness was delicious, and I just tried the Medium Hot Tikka Masala which was absolutely phenomenal - such great heat!! So, if you're in the mood for some seriously delicious Indian food, do yourself a favor and head over to Nawab. Your taste buds will thank you later!

The flavors are there and really good. I ordered a Lamb Rogan Josh + rice + plain naan. The sauce was delicious and for the most part, the lamb was mild in taste and tender except for a couple of pieces that were rubbery and inedible! (Need to be more selective with the lamb pieces that make it to the pot!). The rice was not overcooked and had a light cumin flavor. The plain naan was just right, not too thick, not too thin. Service was professional and attentive. The décore is well above average for neighborhood Indian restaurants: The room is warm and welcoming. The furniture and seating elegant and confortable. Definitely a good experience overall.

The chicken 65 appetizer and the paneer tikka are amazing!! The chicken curry us my absolute favorite meal. The prices may seem a little high, but not for the kind of food you're getting and the portion sizes are huge! I really really like the Naan bread; it is SO good. The food is always fresh and hot; it's never tasted "reheated". I have only eaten here twice and I don't know much about Indian food, but I DO know I'll definitely be back!! It's an outstanding restaurant! :)

This is our go to place for Indian food in Winston. Honestly, most of the restaurants aren’t very good in Winston-Salem. I would say this is one of the best. The food is prepared fast and it’s also great for takeout. I often come in and they have huge tables full of takeout—should just change the restaurant to be takeout stop Ha ha. We’ve tried Indian food all over the country and this place has really well crafted. good dishes. My review is limited because we always order the same thing. Which I highly recommend: Boti Kabob (beef kabob) and the Chili Chicken dinner portion. Spicy, sweet, tasty delicious even after the 10th or 12th time we have ordered. The coconut curry is also pretty solid. I will give that a four out of five. The place is a nice restaurant and is a good place to sit down for dinner or a date too. We are moving out of the area. This is one of the few restaurants in Winston Salem that we knew we could count on for great food. Will miss you Nawab!!!

They say Winston Salem does not have good Indian food but I would argue that. I have been to a couple of Indian restaurants here and they have all been amazing. Nawab is no exception. While it was around 5pm when we went on a Monday (so pretty quiet), the owner was very nice. The food was delicious. I ate until I was absolutely full. The waiters and waitresses would check up on us frequently to refill our water or get us more rice.I ordered the chicken curry and that was amazing. I am not very good with spicy foods so I got my spicy level as mild and it was perfect. My friend got the chicken Tikka masala with normal spice and it was not that spicy. Definitely can taste the spice but not overbearing.I recommend trying a Lassi Drink if you do try Indian food. It is like a thick yogurt drink but very nice. We had this appetizer which I forgot the name of, but it was new for both us but so good!

I’m Ivory I’ve visited this establishment last Sunday the 10th of March and ordered the lamb special that was 32$ plus tax and came with 4 pieces of lamb 4 potato slices grilled carrots grilled broccoli and collie flower rice and also spiced paste the food was good. So today I went back ordered the same cuisine at the same price today at 2:12 pm when I got home my vegetables were missing and the lamb was dry I called back and asked the person who took my order and for why was my vegetables missing and lamb was so dry and I ordered medium well and payed the same price as the previous visit I was told all of a sudden today it’s no vegetables for same price. I’m so disappointed because I was treating my client to a special meal that we enjoyed a week ago only to be heavily disappointed on the meal and the explanation to my service. With this being said I’m very disappointed and they will never get my business again not understanding the plate this time with two starches and no vegetables but agin I hope it was worth it for their business I’m only one but my dollar should matter as much as anyone else’s

Ordered $60 food. No cutlery was sent, no salad no chutney. Butter chicken was half filled in the container at best. Naans are thin as paper. When I called he was so unprofessional. Started cursing in Indian and said it wasn’t included in my order when I clearly had it listed. Would never be ordering again. Please stay away if you have another choice.
