Absolutely Phenomenal Chinese Dining Experience!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

New Szechuan is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting, not just in Winston-Salem but anywhere! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the incredible aroma of authentic Chinese spices and dishes cooking in the kitchen. It’s enough to make your mouth water before you even sit down.

The food here is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish is crafted with such authenticity that it feels like a trip to the heart of China. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of dishes to satisfy every craving—whether you’re a fan of spicy Szechuan specialties or prefer something milder like their stir-fried noodles or dumplings. I highly recommend their Kung Pao Chicken and Ma Po Tofu—absolutely bursting with flavor!

What really stands out is how affordable everything is. You can get a feast for a very reasonable price, which is rare these days for food of this quality. And let me tell you about the service—it’s lightning-fast! I couldn’t believe how quickly our dishes were brought out, steaming hot and ready to enjoy. The staff is so friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

Another huge plus is the parking. There’s plenty of it, so you never have to stress about finding a spot, even during busy times. This is a huge win for anyone who knows how tricky parking can get in Winston-Salem.

If you’re someone who appreciates incredible food, fast service, and an authentic dining experience, New Szechuan is an absolute must-go. Everything from the rich flavors to the welcoming ambiance will keep you coming back. Even the smells wafting through the restaurant are enough to brighten your day—it’s a sensory experience you won’t forget.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by New Szechuan. It’s the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression, and I can’t recommend it enough. Delicious food, amazing atmosphere, great prices—what more could you ask for? Go, try it, and thank me later!

Amazing food!!

Incredible flavors and options for everyone. This was our first time, and we will certainly make the trip from Greensboro to come back!

A small, unassuming location. The interior was simple, clean, and cozy.

Our favorites:
1. Dan Dan Noodles (a MUST try)
2. Ma Po Tofu (incredible flavor + texture)
3. Crispy Garlic Chicken (comforting, filling, and juicy!)

Highly recommend this authentic Chinese spot!!

The food was decent. The people taking the orders were very nice. you know I'm very big on customer service .It's kind of a smaller space, but there was plenty of room. I would return to try something different. I got an order to go this time. It would be nice if they would open the drive-through that would be a great addition.

Parking: Kind of a awkward parking situation when you pull in, but it's definitely doable

The food is not good at all, but for the Winston Salem area, locals think it’s special. They don’t like to give you a napkin or eating utensils. When you ask for them, the holler at you. They are really weird.

I love this place! They have the best veggie dumplings in the area and their tomato noodle soup is just chefs kiss. This place hits the spot every time and the service is just as wonderful as the food which makes the experience all the better!

This place is just amazing! I can say without a doubt we will be back! I am an absolute stickler for spicy and I think they delivered. I ordered the Sichaun Pork Noodles (now changed to spare rib!) and I was in heaven the whole time. I was unaware however that there would be bone and I almost chomped down , so be weary haha. Flavor was really good, the bok choy makes it in my opinion.

Edit : I still come here! And it’s been absolutely divine!
