Absolutely phenomenal food and the best service in town. Joshua was fantastic. Unique, inventive, and scrumptious.

The food was absolutely incredible! The beet and sweet potato was fantastic, eggplant and the 3 lentil and spinach soup was the best Indian food I've ever had. Our waiter was so nice and accommodating with my dog sitting outside. The owner was great, got to talk to him for awhile and will definitely be visiting his other restaurants in the near future. Highly recommend!

The price quality ratio just didn't work for me. The rice felt like it wasn't fresh, the pork had very little flavor, the best part were the veggies as a side dish. The food was really just not up to the what server sold it to be. Even the naan didn't taste flavorful. Also I had to basically knock on the kitchen door so somebody would take my order. Nobody to host and it was well past 12:20 pm, not at 11 am or something like that.

Delicious and delightful! Our server (& team lead) Joshua provided fantastic recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend chicken Tikka Masala and lamb shank. Buttered naan also for the win!

The food was fantastic, and our server was very attentive and gave great recommendations. Delicious cocktails. The restaurant was comfortable and chic inside with an awesome playlist 😊 this was an excellent find as we were staying in the Marriott nearby. Check them out!

The food is simply amazing.
Justin is the best server I’ve ever had in Winston Salem and one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere.
I’ve eaten all over Europe and the USA. This is one of my favorite meals I’ve ever had.
Highly recommend it.
The food is special.

Great ambience and location. However this place DOES NOT serve traditional Indian food. The biryani is blasphemous. That is NOT a Calcutta biryani. Please don’t call it that. Panipuri was served with cold filling and pani. It should be room temperature.
Their special: the lamb poutine was great so was the crème brûlée. Our server was super nice as well.

But very disappointed with the food. If they are advertising this as real traditional food from Kolkata: buyer beware. If you don’t care about that it’s a decent place for food.

Edit: Since you responded to my review, your restaurant has multiple photos and placards with the word ā€˜traditional’ in it. As far as reimagining goes, some things are better left untouched, especially when reimagination includes cold water and cold filling for panipuri!!

Indian food has crazy strong fundamentals and this place still finds ways to innovate on them. Joshua E. deserves a smidge of equity in his paycheck bc he makes this place shine.

Simply delicious Indian American food. The flat bread was like a very tasty pizza and the bowl was full of flavor.

Switched up our Indian Restaurant last night and was not disappointed. The traditional Indian fare was limited but the rest of the menu was very ā€œfoodieā€ and eclectic. I really had a hard time choosing between about four items. I settled on the Black bass which was out of this world. The fish was braised perfectly, came with a couple potatoes and brussel sprouta and a couple carrots but the best in show here was the coconut mustard cream. Oh. My. Goodness. It was divine. The flavors blended well and the taste was light and clean and truly exquisite. The meatballs weee also phenomenal as well. The tikka masala was a little thinner than what we are accustomed to but surprisingly delicious. Steve eats tikka masala at all the Indian restaurants - he ā€˜would eat here again, it was very nice’. This was such an enjoyable dinner, and I loved the twist of the menu items. I cannot wait to come back. Our server, Josh (Edwards) was top notch. Prompt, attentive and really connected with his customers. The managers came out to check on us a couple times,I really have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place.

Atmosphere and service - 5 stars.
Food - 2 stars.

This place is cozy, stylish, and clean. It appears perfect for either a date night or a business meeting. Seats are comfortable, silverware is spotless, and an extra touch of linen napkins is definitely appreciated.

Service is fast, respectful, and helpful. Our server was Alten, and we enjoyed communicating with him. He was fairly knowledgeable about the menu and personable.

That's where the positives pretty much stop. If you actually know what good food is and have eaten outside of NC, and especially outside the US, you're definitely not going to enjoy eating here. What looks like a very interesting menu on the surface, turns out to be a rather bland, boring experience, accentuated by several major pitfalls such as severely undercooked rice and potato, definite lack of flavor, and rather underwhelming textures. My husband remarked that his chicken tikka tasted like canned fish in tomato sauce, but without the fish. As for myself, this was the first time in a decade or more I actually had to ask for salt to be brought to the table. This pretty much tells you everything you need to know.

Finally, our dinner consistent of two appetizers, two mains, one bread, two desserts (that are not made on premises btw), one coffee, and one cocktail. The total was $160 with tip. You, dear reader, be the judge whether you can find better food for the price in the Triads...

Had an evening out with my daughter. The food was absolutely amazing. The specials that we were offered were very unusual for a typical Indian restaurant which adds to the uniqueness of this place. We had an excellent meal. I’ve eaten at all the Indian restaurants in town and this is definitely the best.
Special shout out to Idah J, our server: she was one of the best servers who I’ve met and made the experience even better. They’re lucky to have her.

If you ever want some good food downtown WS: stop by here. You won’t regret it.
