I came into this restaurant on 10/20 11:00 to order some food and was refused service because I had a Service Dog. I was question, they asked for dog id, told Me what i'm suppose to have. The lady attended at Papa Mart also refused to listen as well. I stated several times that's aganist the law! I even told them to ask the police. I went a step further an asked can I order and you can bring it to the car and they said No! #ADA The owner was so nasty. He didn't even look to see that she had on service dog collar and he told me he was an officer. I said there's no possible way.You can an officer and not know the law. I can you own a business and not know this! I had my Service dog paper work in the car, came back showed them anyway and left. Wasn't there because the food is great. I was there because I was trying to drop food off to a funeral.
LAW: Under the ADA, restaurant owners must legally allow service animals into their establishments. This means that you cannot refuse entry to a person with a service dog based on your own personal beliefs or your concerns for health and food safety rules.
I was highly disappointed!! Also very disrespected here!! I asked for two veggie patty’s only. The man working told me, of course we have them, then he went to get my so-called veggie patties, which they did not have it seems. Took two beef patties, took the meat out one and put just random soggy wet vegetables in one and one had nothing in it at all, just bread. I don’t even EAT BEEF!! This man wanted my money more than providing me what I paid for, highly disappointed will never come here again beware of this disgusting place!!! You could have just said we don’t have any veggie patties was the money really worth it? 💯💯

Sure it's in a gas station but the place is clean, the cooks are absolutely some of the kindest people I've met, the food is eye opening, and the portions... Don't get me started, they don't stop filling up your tray until it's barely closeable. For the amount you're paying, the food and portions are definitely worth, I brought 3 trays home and my family and I could barely scratch how much there was. 10/10 would come over again and again if I didn't live 25 minutes away

I'm gonna have to keep searching for a good Jamaican spot in Winston Salem. My girlfriend and I ordered a variety of items to try and the best things was the frozen beef patty. The food was cold and and tasted dull. The taste, quality, serving size, and service were hard to justify for the price.

Good was great and you get a lot of it.
Good Jamaican food and service with a smile.
I ordered a side of oxtails the sauce was so good but the oxtails were so tough I couldn't eat them. It was so disappointing.

You Don know, mourh watering delicious 🤤🤤😋😋
Some of thee best patties I've ever had! I didn't want the beef but the chicken & vegetable patties were sold out. The guy that works there is friendly & a great cook. I would drive from wherever for this gas station Jamaican food. Everything was clean & tasty. I went two days in a row. The curry goat, cabbage, spinach rice and plantains, the small plate was enough for two servings. The patty was amazing, I didn't make it out of the parking lot until it was gone. The ground beef was seasoned so well, not salty or greasy. The crust was light & flaky with a little give that was homemade perfection.
What a hidden gem! I was craving some jerk chicken and stumbled across this place on Google and decided to try it. Yes it's in a gas station but these people can cook!! There was one lady working so I assume she made the food, and 5 stars to you girl! There's an authentic Jamaican food truck I go to usually but I will most definitely come back here to Outta D Kitchen. The woman who cooked & served my food was so nice too. Friendly smile. I got the brown stew chicken for me and the jerk chicken for my husband and both were delicious and you can tell cooked with love. Even the rice & veggies seasoned very well which is not common!!! Other Jamaican places I've tried had bland cabbage, rice, & peas..but not here!! Plantains crispy and juicy. Yes you pay a higher price but get an enormous amount of food and great quality. $20 a plate (for the large) but I'm gonna get 3 meals off my one box alone. Great job Outta D Kitchen & thanks for satisfying my craving tonight!! Will definitely come back.
We got takeout from here on a whim and I am so glad we did. As per usual, the hole in the wall hidden gem lives up to the reputation. Jerk chicken and curry goat were unbelievable, but even the plantains, cabbage and rice were impeccably seasoned . Prices might look like a lot, but you get a ton of food and if you've ever made this stuff you know how much time and energy goes into making it well. This place is worth every penny.
