place is extremely dirty! food is horrible made me sick!

This place is very sub par! Bernard, Monica is even sub par employees. The place is nasty from the outside in! After watching the video I’m even more upset how they can keep their establishment like that! I will never ever eat there!

I'm only looking at the food from the pictures that i've seen on the other reviews. What the heck is going on with that hot dog? I also watched the YouTube video. And there was a lot of rancid food in the walk in. But for real, that hot dog needed some water looking like spongebob when he visited sandy. I NEED IT! 🧽

This place was on YouTube for dirty kitchens and had an inspection score of 74. The owner walking nonchalantly and right off back you can tell he doesn’t care. Go to YouTube and see the video on Dirty restaurant audit with JT Young.

Nasty attitude unprofessional and the food is disgusting. First and last time ever eating there.

Who is allowing this disgusting place to stay open? They have a C rating. If you eat here you're playing with your health and life.

This place is is nasty and dirty, they had a food health inspection on Instagram , search “dirtyrestaurantaudits” on IG and you will see them on video getting exposed

DISGUSTING !!!!!!!!!!! I couldn’t even take a picture how distraught I was ! This place is 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! The moment I walked in, I was hand gesture to sit wherever my waitress Pass my partner his straw by placing it on the table when it was already open, but what topped it off was the drink that I ordered? I ordered a strawberry henny and inside the ice had full-size Knats. I’m talking fully developed and been loving where ever the ice came from!!!!! I had to leave to vomit there was about 6-7 knats frozen within the ice cubes. I’m from a Third World country and I’ve never seen this in my life as a business you put your customers health at risk with that nasty and sanitary serving

Unfortunately, Prime Tyme Soul Food did not impress with its catering customer service. We were overcharged and were not issued a refund from an event for Oct 3, 2024 after repeated communications. We have been summarily ignored. We hosted an event and we were excited to include food from three businesses owned by people of color. Two of the businesses, Oh Calcutta and Sabor Latin Grill delivered, were prompt, delicious and fairly priced. Prime Tyme Soul Food was the highest priced by a couple hundred dollars at $600 and did not deliver. Even knowing they were priced higher than the others we were dedicated to supporting their business. When we came to pick up the food and were rung up, the price was $250 less than quoted. Our pick up person wanted to double check to make sure we had all the correct food due to the price difference. Once the owner, Tim, saw this on the video camera, he called down to the cashier and had him add on a $300 catering fee, this exorbitant amount for no delivery, set up, utensils, or anything. Our pick up person, who was unaware that this was a ridiculous overcharge, had already paid tax and a gracious $50 tip (even through they were picking up the food) as is their custom.
And then they were charged $300 on top of that. We wound up paying over $100 more than the agreed upon price AND the original price quoted was excessive as no appropriately priced catering services were provided. I do not recommend this restaurant based on these unethical business practices.

Overall a good experience, Veges were good, chicken was fried well but needs work on the batter and flavor. Friendly staff, just need work on the menu. Not sure if I’ll return, on the other hand I’d come back here before I’d goto fast food restaurants

Food was ok. The service was ok, the guy was by his self out front. He had some family members that came in after us but serviced them first I didnt like that.

The place is terrible, the food is terrible, Staffing is terrible. They take a long time to fix food, which is surprising because they do not have customers. Awful place, why is it still opened!!!

I ordered chicken, collard greens, candied yams, cornbread pancake and water. We waited about 45 minutes for our food and another 20 minutes for server to honor our request for a check. For starters, All food is served in styrofoam take-out boxes although we were dining-in. The collards were tasteless and rubbery. My yams were stringy and very bland. The fried chicken was ok and the breast and wing were quite large.

I watched an employee clean a nearby table by swiping crumbs to the floor and then walking away without sweeping the mess he had created.

The entrance door was full of dirty fingerprints which were a turn off!
