Stopped by on a road trip to try Lexington style bbq for the first time and was not disappointed. Chopped bbq, green beans, baked beans, hush puppies, lemon blueberry pound cake were all great. Friendly service as well.

It’s the kind of barbecue place that I remember from my youth. There’s nothing like a pit-cooked sliced barbecue sandwich. They also offer chopped and chunked que. Their desserts and sides are pretty wonderful too. You’ll like the friendly people who work there.

This was my first time trying Real Q, and I have to say…it’s some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Every bite was full of flavor, and the hospitality was just as impressive. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed by the entire staff. You can tell they take pride in both their food and their service. I’ll definitely be back for more Real Q and next time, I’m excited to try something new and make the experience even more unforgettable. Loved the old time BBQ restaurant feel of this place. From the chopped tray, to the hush puppies, fried okra, bbq slaw and hot chips, everything was delicious. I do wish there was alittle more smoke and tang to the meat but I didn’t leave hungry.
