Terrible as our order was left incomplete --again. This store needs a better checks and verify before they pass out the food. I am tired of constantly fixing their problems

I like going there at night For dinner.They have really good barbecue.Also their desserts are extremely good.

Ordered Fried chicken Dinner (Sunday at Lunch). Pretty sure the chicken breasts were fried/heated on site but -meh, nothing to be proud of. Hosed it with Texas Pete for flavor so it was edible. Green beans were ok. The collard greens were baptized in either olive or vegetable oil and salted. The end. Nasty!! Couldn't eat it and I love collard greens. Moral of the story: I won't eat here again and won't be recommending Cagneys. I should have driven to Bojangles or (egad) Wendy's. For the life of me, I can't understand why there is always a crowd here, especially if the food is bland at best.

4 stars for this one. Evening Manager needs to lighten up just a tad. Seems wound up. Was ignored when we walked in due to some guy, not an employee hanging out in the area where the staff goes in and out, and hugging/talking to some girl that did walk back that way. Brand New waitress was on top of everything - great customer service. Cagney's food always good. I get sick easy with cold air blowing on me and asked the waitress if they could turn the ceiling fan off over me. She asked management, but 20 mins later I asked again. She had been told by the manager they could not turn that fan off due to it would turn the lights off. I had to ask to move to an empty table at that point where the ceiling fan was not on.

BBQ order had a sauce I really couldn’t connect with. It definitely wasn’t eastern. It definitely wasn’t Lexington style. Left my pallet with a taste I have never had before. I do not like Smithfield BBQ but I would definitely choose it over Cagneys. Definitely will not be going to order BBQ anymore

Got two cheeseburger club plates to go and it was NASTY. The bacon was actually raw, didn't look like it had seen any heat at all. Would not recommend to anyone.

I ordered the breakfast special for Monday. I picked my choice of eggs side and bread. Those were the only choices you had to choose from. When I got home there was no smoked sausage which is the daily special. I called and explained that the smoked sausage was missing only to be told there was no smoked sausage on the ticket. I explained that I ordered the special which is smoked sausage and the girl who answered just kept saying there wasn’t any smoked sausage on the ticket. This conversation was frustrating and useless. Apparently your on line ordering needs to be updated or the employees need to know what the special includes. I’m very dissatisfied

Had a great breakfast date with my dad! The food was fantastic, the staff was so friendly and it was the best time I spent with my dad after a really rough start to this year!! Thank you to the staff for making an 84 yr old man very happy!!

We usually get take-out from there about every other week and the food is normally pretty good. But tonight we ordered our usual and when we got home with the take out containers, they looked like they had been tossed in the air before they were put in the bag. There was mac and cheese sauce all over everything and a fried chicken sandwich was basically inedible. I called and voiced my disappointment in our meals and was given a half-hearted "sorry" by the manager on duty. Needless to say, we will not be back....EVER!

We got Chopped BBQ plate, and beef tips. Both were great! Service was nice and friendly. I did notice the floors could have been cleaner, but could have been short handed. We will be back
Bland overcooked BBQ. Menu is confusing as to what you are actually getting. BBQ chopped plate is a pile of mush, god knows what it really is. Hushpuppies are good. A sign is up for a new restaurant coming to this space soon, hopefully that will be better.

Took us ten minutes before anyone came to get our drink order. The food when we got it was maybe a little warm . Had plenty if people walking out cause of how long it took to get service

The brisket sandwich was very good. The bbq is average. Used drive-thru so can't rate service however the girl at window was very pleasant.

Food is always great and the staff is nice! For all the dry bbq reviews, get a bottle of the bbq sauce and that will help with that!

Since a change in management and employees months ago the food quality has really gone down hill. From my experiences under the new management the bar-b-que is greasy, fries and hush puppies are usually under cooked. The service is ok, but I go to a restaurant for the food and not the service.
