Edit: Tried to go back to give a second chance and hours were wrong on Pinside app. Said it opened at 12 when really opens at 4. All the stern machines were offline so we couldn't log in to track progress. This was our main reason for going there

I Sadly cannot remember the bartender's name, though she was amazing. It was sunday, Sept 7th and we were there around 4 pm. She was extremely helpful and upbeat. HOWEVER. It very quickly became apparent that the owner does not give two dimes about this establishment or its customers. Half the machines say there is a cash option, which there is not (not a huge problem for us, but consistency is key). When we wanted to reload our card, it would not scan on the machine and kept telling me there was an error, I wanted to use this card as we had leftover credits. I resorted to purchasing a new card with 20 credits. When I applied the card to the next machine we wanted to use, it said I only had 18 credits, as annoyed as I was from trying to operate the machine previously, I admitted perhaps I did not use it correctly. In an attempt to add enough credits to use the machine I wanted to use, the reloading machine kept giving me the same error. I asked the bartender for help, and she helped me as much as she could, kept my spirits up just as much. Finally, we figured out that we could combine the points online to the previous card and we were able to execute the original goal. Further frustration was with the fact that drinks advertised online were not offered at this establishment. To go further, the drinks they DID offer were not developed with taste buds in mind. We ordered the Pop-a smurf and princess peach, and they were not drinkable. We choked them down simply because we paid for them. I would NOT recommend this bar to anyone, as someone who prefers to support local businesses, and instead recommend checking out the nearby tikki bar and oddities store. The only appeal is if you are a very patient teenager looking for a spot to waste time.

It's a cute spot for a drink. If you like pinball you will like it here. The Air hockey was fun too. It was very warm when we were in there but started to cool off as we played.

Used to be a great place to game, but no longer. Over the years the maintenance and service have gone down hill. Owner doesn't maintain the machines well and the selection has also dwindled over time. In the multiple times I have been, the pins in particular have been in varying states of disrepair. Sadly, the only real place in Winston to play pinball and retro arcade games. Great potential that is squandered by bad management and sketchy ownership.

By the blessed hand of Saint Cuthbert, I found mine self in a wondrous hall of lights and clamor last fortnight, a place they call Reboot Arcade Bar. Ne’er in my lowborn days did I think to sip mead served by the fair wench Nikki, a barmaiden swifter than any scullion at market. The chamber be filled with glowing boxes—ye press upon them, and they whirr and shriek like devilry, yet they bring much merriment.
There stood another mistress, Lexi by name, who did lead a strange ritual where townsfolk bellowed tunes into a speaking-horn—some were possessed by melody, others by sheer ale. ’Twas both a torment and a marvel to behold such caterwauling. And lo, the dancing! A godless flailing of limbs, like puppets seized by spirits—but the tunes, aye, they stirred even my dirt-caked feet. I reckon I’d trade a fortnight’s barley to return.

Popped into Reboot on a whim and ended up staying way longer than planned. The vibe is perfect — a mix of old-school arcade games, great music, and just the right amount of chaos. But honestly, the highlight of the night was Nikki behind the bar.
She was quick, super friendly, and had this way of making everyone feel like a regular. She recommended a drink that was spot-on (no idea what was in it, but it was strong and delicious), and somehow managed to keep the whole bar running smoothly even when it got packed.
Reboot is awesome on its own, but Nikki seriously took the experience to the next level. Can’t wait to come back — and next time, the first round’s from her again

Favorite place to go downtown! A safe place for all shapes and sizes, LGBTQIA+, everyone and anyone can come and feel accepted. I love coming to karaoke on Sunday nights the most! I enjoy the cheap and strong drinks and the people who work here are the cherry on top. Cute decorations and lighting, perfect for selfies and photos, and there are so many awesome vintage and newer arcade games to play! Pinball is free on thursdays, lots of options. I like that there are two gender neutral bathrooms to use. SAFE PLACE

Just recently started going here.... and I will say the new bartenders and Miss lexi are absolutely amazing. Ive always hated singing karaoke but lexi broke me out of my comfort zone and made it fun. I couldn't imagine singing karaoke anywhere else. Love this place ❤️
