Consistent local favorite with excellent service. Food is not as good as in the past when the previous chef was in charge, however, it is still adequate. Fried oysters are a classic, and they generally allow you to choose how many you would like for example, with a salad. The bar scene is quite active and you will get a glimpse of city leaders quite often. If you are used to a very high-level of service, then I would highly recommend this establishment

Upon arrival at A Noble Grille, you are pleasantly greeted by the wonderful environment of a typical bar restaurant setup. Having been seated outside during pollen season might have been a concern, however, we made do. To start, the bread was a bit flavorless and at room temperature and was accompanied by olive oil and no balsamic vinegar, this might have been better served with a side of butter. Apps were hit and miss, the chicken wings were superb along with the pimento cheese, but the calamari was so extremely mediocre. Continuing on to the main course, I selected the bolognese with tagliatelle and it was what I was expecting. The sides were also hit-and-miss, the fries were delectable and accompanied by a delicious sauce. The grits with bacon bits were a little chunky for my liking. The best thing about A Noble Grille, however, had to have been the desert. The coconut cake was stupendous -- light and fluffy with the perfect amount of richness. We also ordered the NY Cheesecake and thought it was both tangy and dense. Overall, the Roosters experience was just okay for the pricing and we will probably be back eventually.

4 cocktails, calamari, 2 entrées, 2 sides, 1 dessert just under $200. Nice place and good preparation is good. Slightly salty but it was flavor rich. Coffee was room temp vs hot. Short ribs flavorful but a bit tough.

Excellent food, great service, nice cozy atmosphere, but strangely enough the chairs are borderline unbearable to sit in at the Winston location and honestly make it hard to want to go back despite all the things going right. Count yourself lucky if you get to sit in one of the booths!

I had dinner here last night with a friend and family and it was phenomenal. The filet was the best I’ve had in a long time…additionally, the pepperoni pizza was out of this world. Our server was attentive and super sweet. I hate that I only got a photo of dessert but it was all on point.

Atmosphere here is great. I go every month for a meeting at lunch time. I've never had something that was served at the appropriate temp nor that was very impressive. They also tried to pass Mozzarella off as Buratta like customers wouldn't notice.

Was excited to try Rooster's as I've always heard good things, but was let down by the overall food quality/taste for the process point. Overall, the food was just okay. Personal preference, the starter bread wasn't my favorite and just tasted like loaf bread with plain olive oil offered for dipping. I ordered a wood fired pizza, while my two friends ordered crab cake and fried oyster salad. I felt the pizza was lacking in overall flavor but was a good serving size. The crab cake portion was pretty small and the salad only had a few oysters, for the price point of both of these items I expected more. For dessert, we got crème brûlée and bread pudding to share. The creme brûlée was the highlight of the meal for me, perfectly toasted and delicious, the bread pudding was lacking in flavor and only came with a small dollop of gelato. My drink was also a highlight and it was delicious! I got the royal 75. Perfectly strong and not overly sweet. I believe that after visiting, the price point is for the ambiance. It was one of the nicer places I've been in this area and it was beautiful. The server was very soft spoken however, and hard to hear above the overall noise in the restaurant. However, she was very kind and attentive! The menu is very confusing for food. There is not set appetizer area or main food area. A friend I was with mentioned they used to do half plates but that is no longer offered. Overall just not impressed for the high price and likely won't visit again!

My fish entree was swimming in a gumbo sauce….very bad indeed. A nice blackened piece of fish stands alone..no need for all of the extras. The duck was wayyyyyy too fatty. Overall the food here is mediocre at best….can’t always buy into the hype…

Has taken me too long to come here but this was some of the best food I’ve had in Winston. Everything we had was good, including the rotisserie chicken which was excellent, the seasonal salad with butternut squash (if you’re into salads and squash), the tomato bisque, complimentary bread, and pepperoni pizza which was a good size. Would prob skip the pizza next time, not because it wasn’t good because it was, but to try something else. Ended the meal with espresso martini and bread pudding which were also good (note that the bread pudding can take up to 25 min so plan ahead).

I came this morning to have a nice brunch with my wife and unfortunately we didn't have a pleasant experience, I asked the hostess nicely for a table and she gave us a table not far away from the main entrance and my wife asked me to ask the host for a better table. So I asked the hostess if there was a possibility to move us to a different table and she looked at me and said just move to the table next to it, she never bother to come to the table and guide us to move, then to make things worse the waiter that was assigned to us never introduced herself the only thing she did was remove all the glasses and silverware and she never made eye contact with us. I asked the hostess for a manager and the manager came to me very nicely and politely then I went over with my complaint the way we were treated unfairly and we felt that we were discriminated, the manager offered me a gift certificate but I declined it because that wasn’t my intention. She asked me to stay but my wife and I didn’t feel comfortable staying at this place ?. Very bad experience for such a place. We would never go back again to eat at this place.

Mia, our server, was fabulous! The food was outstanding - seafood cooked perfectly. Sauce with the flounder was tasty and great to dip bread. Scallops were sweet and had these wonderful crunchy topping. New to the area and have found our new favorite place!
