I had researched unique places to eat in Winston, this blew me out of the water! it was everything I hoped for and then some !
The staff was kind and genuinely friendly and attentive. Our waitress was a lovely young lady named Maya- she was an absolute delight. She checked in regularly while multitasking around the restaurant. She had an air of kindness and fun and made me feel so at home .

Overall, the food here is very good. But I’m still very confused. I made a reservation online for Sage and Salt Bistro through Open Table. However, when I showed up, the hostess then proceeds to take me outside to walk down a long walkway, to another adjoining restaurant, saying this is where my reservation was actually for. Apparently it’s a second restaurant they are working with. Both restaurants apparently offer both menus and share the same kitchen space? Or something...
By far the nicest restaurant I’ve ever been to and everything tasted amazing!
Troy served us and explained the menu. He was incredible. I felt a little out of place when I couldn’t understand several fancy words, but he was very kind & helpful.
