Somebody commented here that this place hates black people. I’m a black woman. I came in here on a Monday at 12:50pm for a very quick drink and the blonde bartender said that she would make me a cherry vodka. She then asked me if I liked coconut and I said yes…. ??There were 2 men to the right of me and she was making a drink in front of them and said that the end of pouring pineapple juice smells like a fart.In the back of my mind I was like this had better not be my drink because we just agreed on a cherry vodka not anything pineapple…and I’m not going to put something in my mouth that you just said smells bad. Service was terrible.

The male manager barged into the women’s restroom ten minutes before close and screamed at all of us to leave the bar for ‘doing drugs in the bathroom’ when we had been in there maybe all of three minutes just using the restroom. Even when trying to understand what was going on, he just screamed at us to get out, cursed in our faces, and threatened us. Meanwhile, the men’s room was undisturbed. Sexist, inappropriate, and disturbing.

THIS PLACE HATES BLACK PEOPLE!! A Black friend and me walk into the bar. He’s in front of me and gets patted down for weapons, and I didn’t get checked. I use the bathroom and he gets charge 19.50 for one grey goose shot. I asked the bartender how much this is (not knowing we’re together) a woman says 11 dollars so I confront her and ask why did you charge him 19.50? Then when she “fixes” it it’s 13 dollars. So I say you just told me it’s 11.

Hands down one of the best bars/hangouts in Winston! Has that "hometown feel" and the staff are all amazing. Love to visit and have a few drinks & apps when in the area! Definitely recommend to anyone in the Winston area!
