Delicious hibachi. We can complement that there were a lot of vegetables, zucchini, and broccoli, as well as mushrooms throughout the hibachi which was delicious. The rice was simple yet delicious.

Worst food experience I've had from a Japanese resturant. I would rather have the grocery store sushi from Lowe's (its actually fairly good) then theirs. The crab rangoon was completely burnt and the inside tasted like molded crumbled goat cheese. The steak for the hibachi tasted like over boiled stew meat without any flavor. They do have good front-end staff, the hostess and sever who helped with takeout were great. They also need to improve their phone system, I had to go in to order take out because I couldn't get through. Wouldn't recommend. In response to owner:Thank you for your response. I am fully aware what crab rangoon consists of.. cream cheese is the base of the filling. It is intended to have a creamy inside. It is not meant to be dried out and burnt on the inside because it was over-fried to the point of being inedible. As someone who has the privilege of having ten years experience in the restaurant business, I am appalled that you allow your kitchen to serve such food. I am not trying to be rude, but bring awareness to what your staff is serving your customers (my review might sound dramatic but it was honest). No one should receive a meal like we did. Restaurants rely on having returning customers and if others are receiving meals like ours, well - that's not good for business. Several months ago I tried calling an order, when I arrived to order in person I found the kitchen had closed early due to service being out. Therefore this time, I thought something similar may have happened. I do not mind running into an establishment to order food... but you really should consider updating your phones to a system that allows for call waiting. This will increase your sales, especially for take-out. I hope in the future you can do better for customers and your business. Good luck.

The food is excellent! Just like sitting at the hibachi table without the wait. The servers were friendly, attentive and helpful. The anesthetics are nice but it is a little noisy.

I ordered from here for my sons birthday. I had order 3plates that had shrimp on them and one that only had steak and chicken. Everyone that ate from the plates with the shrimps on them, caught a severe case of food poisoning. I called Rio to inform the of the situation. Instead of them be helpful about the situation, they told me that it was not their responsibility that my family got food poisoning. No but it is your responsibility to make sure that the food that comes out of your restaurant, is prepared probably, so that it doesn’t make anyone sick. I will never spend another penny with them and I hope that no one else make the same mistake we did.
I love this place, amazing service, amazing atmosphere, amazing food and they have the sweetest girl at the counter 10 out of 10
Sad you walk in with the open sign on and door says 9pm and it's 8:20, all you want is sushi and the lady says sorry we are closing early. Was our first visit and won't even go back to try it now.
Excellent food, friendly staff and promptly came to help with my order. I will eat at RIO Winston Salem again!!!
