Wine loft, that would be the reason I was looking forward to going, except the wine list was large, and yet they didn't have anything. Special orders requested for dietary restrictions, yet the order needed to be remade for lack of follow through. The service was lacking in more ways than just one... would never go back.

My husband and I dined here for dinner and the food was amazing! I didn’t think the seafood was going to be that good, but it was just like being on the gulf! I felt bad for the server, you could tell she was on her game but just stretched thin with too many tables.

Horrible Valentines evening. Couldn't find anywhere to park for about 20 minutes driving around then finally went into a parking deck. So cold and windy walk to get to the restaurant. Had reservations in advance for 6. We were told we had a 30 minute wait. Luckily we had a couple of friends already sitting at a table. Our soup was served barely warm. Our food was served the same way. Waitress was not attentive. She was the only one working. They needed more help. I do not recommend this place. Not a good place for a nice dinner for adults.

Disappointing. The bartender was also the host and the waiter. Understandably the service was pretty slow. The food was very mediocre. Don't think I will go back for dinner. I have gone for brunch in the past and it was a better experience and we enjoyed our food, but that was probably 2 years ago.

We love the atmosphere of Sir Winston. The staff is friendly and service is usually quick. The food is very good and filling. We got the charcuterie board as an appetizer and the Old Man and the Sea entree. Both were great and they actually got me hooked on pickled okra!I don’t drink but my husband enjoys their cocktails. I usually get a mocktail but find it absurd that they charge you $10 for a skinny mocktail.

Lillia was so awesome! She was a great server who truly went above and beyond. We had a late breakfast here on Wednesday, 1/3/2024. I couldn't believe there weren't more people enjoying this amazing restaurant! I think maybe we came at a weird time during the week. We can't wait to go back and have even booked reservations at Hotel Indigo for our next Winston Salem stay in May.

Had Christmas day lunch. The menu was prefix menu at $40 a plate. Most of our party had the beef brisket green beans and Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese wasn't scratch made as they claimed. It tasted familiar. Perhaps frozen Stouffers. The brisket was dry but tasty at least. Green beans were cold. Dessert was black forest cake which was just ok. Definitely not worth the $40 per plate and added 20% tip . We had dinner across the street at Katherine's Brasserie which was fabulous and the bill was less for our party of 7.

Considering this was one of very places open for Christmas, I can't really say anything bad. It was less than what I expected, and there was only one overworked server.

We made reservations for Thanksgiving lunch and the food was subpar. You had a choice of meat and 2 sides and desert. It really felt like it was one of the precooked meals heated up. I will say the crafted cocktail I had was delicious! It was served in a glass/wooden lantern with hickory smoke to infuse. Best part of the meal.

We were a table of 6. I ordered the bourbon ribs...couldn't eat them because they were chewy. Ordered brussel sprouts as my vegetable. I couldn't eat them either for the same reason. My husband and one other ordered the Tuscan chicken. They were both very unhappy and someone ordered the French onion soup which was given a fair. Place was empty at 8 pm on a Friday evening. Now I know why.

Husband & I went here today for brunch while celebrating our anniversary weekend. Upon arrival no one greeted us and no one was at the hostess stand, there were only one other couple eating in the entire restaurant (ghost town). The lady behind the bar completely ignored us. We finally went to the bar and asked the lady what do we need to do to eat here. She tells us to seat ourselves and she will come with menus. Within a few minutes she proceeds to tell us we are in a closed section and to please be seated in the section next to it. We waited 10 minutes for her to even bring us a menu, we considered getting up and leaving (wish we would have). We finally get menus and place our order. My coffee came with a small amount of creamer and no sugars of any sort. My husband had to go track down an employee from the hotel and after the coffee was cold we got sugar (no one ever offered to top the coffee or offered any hot.) the girl disappeared for long periods of time and another staff member from the kitchen brought our food to us. At this point we also didn’t have any water left, no one was anywhere to be found. the food was OK, absolutely nothing to brag about but was OK…..until my husband picked up his last slice of bacon to find a long black hair under it. We found the girl and showed her this, she took the plate and disappeared, didn’t apologize or even come back to the table to explain any sort of resolution. After 15 minutes of waiting with no drink, cold coffee, no food we just asked how we could pay as we had been in there for well over an hour now. She simply asked if we wanted it billed to the room or pay with a card. Pathetic. The worst service I have received in years if not my entire lifetime. I will never return here and as an employee of RJReynolds who is constantly booking reservations for our executives I’ll definitely be removing this location as an option to prevent anyone else from the pure lack of service/accommodations of Sir Winston. After a complete wasted morning attempting to grab a bite to eat we ended up at the Kimpton Cardinal who offered Amazing food & service. Do yourself the favor and just keep walking!!!

Dinner menu was disappointing. Everything was over salted, especially the French onion soup (barely had onion, but lots of concentrated beef broth). The chicken was tough and overall too much sauce and cream on the plate.
