My wife and I had a outstanding experience. We definitely would go back to Tuscani By Sage & Salt.
We made a reservation for 2 early in the evening. Problem 1: Be ready everyone, if you are a party of 2, you are at high cocktail tables and they won't seat you elsewhere. Problem 2: Now our server was very nice but she didn't know the menu. Had to go ask pretty basic questions. Maybe she was new???? Problem 3: Ribeye not cooked as requested and not hardly seasoned. The side was a couple tablespoons of sauteed spinach, onion, celery, and a few chunks of potato. Not worth $58. Steak sauce had an odd bitter flavor. To be fair, we did not have any pasta which I would imagine should be their expertise. Overall, not impressed. But the valet was at least entertaining.
Tuscani by Sage & Salt was delightful and delicious! Every item from the gin martini to sorbet and ice cream deserts was tastefully prepared. We overlooked the active kitchen and enjoyed the professional cooking performance. Thanks to the Chef and his team.
The waitstaff and service was amazing. The pasta was overcooked, and 60.00 for three frozen scallops (which were so overcooked they tasted like rubber) was too expensive.
After a great meal at Sage & Salt this week we booked a reservation at the relatively new Tuscani by S&S a few nights later. Great upscale buildout and ambience. The food which features in-house made pasta was excellent. The service was professional, friendly, and efficient. Overall an outstanding experience and one of the best restaurants we've been to in Winston-Salem. We look forward to dining again the next time we visit the area.
I ordered the special scallops sent them back tasted like ammonia they were bad , ordered the pork chop special sent it back it was extremely tough I stopped at this point won't go back.
The restaurant decor and vibe is inviting, the staff were friendly and available. The cheese, olive and crostini plate they offered upon seating was a nice touch. The food offerings were varied- I ordered the Bucatini Cacio E Pepe with prosciutto wrapped shrimp and my friend had the Ravioli special. The 2 shrimps were tasty but the cacio e Pepe was bland, a little soupy and you could not taste the black pepper. It was not inedible, just not very flavorful. The coffee was delicious but chocolate cake for dessert was underwhelming as it was dry and was not a rich chocolate flavor..
Great experience overall, we went to celebrate our engagement and noted a special occasion on the reservation, but never were asked about it. All in all the food and service were great regardless.
First visit and not the last. Unique ambiance, good service and very good food. Look forward to returning soon.
Our server was kind and prompt, and the cocktails we ordered were fabulous! The appetizer and salad were also great. We were very underwhelmed with our main courses (pasta dishes). We had considered the branzino and a steak, and maybe that would have been better. The pasta dishes just lacked in flavor (risotto especially).

Please be careful when ordering a mocktail at this restaurant. The waiter did not mention that the mocktail ordered by my colleague contained THC. When he received his second one (without the staff preventing him) he started to feel really bad and ended up in the emergency at the hospital. Adding THC to a mocktail is one thing but PREVENTING it by a clear sign on the menu would be more than appropriate. My colleague's heart rate went up to 185 bpm. It was a scary feeling for all the group attending dinner.
We sat at the culinary bar (I choose this accidentally) and couldn't have been more pleased. It was like watching an episode of “The Bear” watching the chef's work and communicate was amazing. As a special surprise Chef sent us a sampling of the mushroom risotto that was to die for. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Winston Salem. Will for sure be back soon:)
We had a great meal at Tuscani. The Linguini Frutti Di Mare was among the best seafood pastas we have ever had. The wood fired Branzino was also exceptional. We also enjoyed the middleneck clams appetizer. We sat at the kitchen counter and loved watching the care that went into every dish. We had some service mis-steps, but I'll chalk that up to a new restaurant and a server stretched too thin. Looking forward to returning and trying the steak.
Disappointing Experience – Won’t Be Returning
Dined at Six Hundred° last night with a party of four, and unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations.
Parking was a hassle from the start, setting a stressful tone before we even walked in. Once seated, things didn’t improve. Our server was unwilling to accommodate even simple menu adjustments, telling us, “The chef doesn’t like to change the menu.” For an upscale restaurant, this kind of rigidity and lack of customer focus is unacceptable. I’ve dined at high-end restaurants around the world and have never encountered that kind of refusal over reasonable requests.
To make matters worse, the restaurant wasn’t busy, yet we still waited nearly an hour for our entrées—with no explanation or urgency from the staff.
In the end, the unprofessional and inflexible service completely overshadowed the meal. We left disappointed and won’t be returning. I wouldn’t recommend Six Hundred° to anyone looking for a refined or customer-friendly dining experience.
Sure! Here's a polished and balanced revision: The food was ok, though not particularly memorable, especially given the price. Our waiter provided excellent service, but the food took quite a while to arrive. We did appreciate the complimentary dessert as a gesture for the delay.
