Slappy's Chicken Slaps! The chicken is super crunchy and sauce is out-of-this-world good! It's a perfect mix of BBQ and hot sauce. Slappy's Chicken is the definition of a hidden gem and is worth the wait. This establishment is normally lined out the door and down the sidewalk. The sides are all phenomenal, especially the Mac and cheese.

Don't sleep on this place! Make sure to get your chicken dipped. The dip is spicy but flavorful, with some heat. Even dipped the skin was still crispy. The meat was juicy and tender. The beans had meat in them. The greens may be the best I have ever had!

OMG this place was amazing! This was my first experience here and the chicken dipped in their homemade sauce knocked my socks off!!! I was so amazed. Definitely going back again and again!!
Went here today and they did not disappoint. Chicken salad was delish. My husband got the fried chicken… also amazing. The Mac and cheese is super good and the collard greens were to die for. Whatever that sauce is, just get it and then pour it over everything. I could bathe in it. Kinda metal, kinda blue collar, hella delicious. We’ll be back next time we come down from the mountains.

There are tons of combo options and awesome sides. This is the type of food if you ate at a family gathering everyone would say “WHO MADE THIS”?! I’ll be back.
