Best chicken place i have ever been and the atmosphere is amazing and the staff is amazing and the sauce is a little spicy but it tastes amazing and its a great price for a quarter of chicken and two sides and a drink

Not my cup of tea, service was very unfriendly not quite rude but very unfriendly.. Food very mediocre to my taste, sauce a bit salty the flavor was kinda ok. I'd definitely will not return. Food wasn't terrible but definitely not great. I went because the reviews were good but in my opinion it was not to impressive. The sides were decent though especially the Mac and the greens not bad either.

Slappy's Chicken is the definition of a hidden gem and is worth the wait. This establishment is normally lined out the door and down the sidewalk. The sides are all phenomenal, especially the Mac and cheese.

Don't sleep on this place! Make sure to get your chicken dipped. The dip is spicy but flavorful, with some heat. Even dipped the skin was still crispy. The meat was juicy and tender. The beans had meat in them. The greens may be the best I have ever had!
