Slappys is awesome! My favorite fried chicken in the Triad! Best of all, it's 10 min. from my house, and the kids and I get our hair cut literally next door! We always leave with Fresh Chicken and Fresh Cuts! I love the Washington Park Neighborhood! Great destination! Worth Going! Dont sleep on the desert either! SLAPPY'S ice box pie is ? too!

First time trying Slappys, I got the 1/4 upper chicken dipped in Slappys sauce, with potato salad, and the mac n cheese with cheezits and a cheerwine. In my personal opinion, the chicken was the best chicken I’ve ever had that wasn’t home cooked. It was juicy, the skin was crispy and the sauce was just off the chain with some heat and just enough sweetness, you can tell that sauce was made with some passion. The mac n cheese was bangin, the cheezits really hit the spot in it. The potato salad, just, beautiful, had a smoky taste to it with the perfect texture and everything, to end the perfect meal I got the pineapple refrigerator pie, and it was phenomenal and just perfect..The staff was so amazing and nice, and the price was definitely reasonable for great FRESH food, nothing was unfresh about the food. I really can’t wait to go back there.
