Really enjoyed the grilled Ceasar Salad. We had chicken added. Also had vegetable wrap which was ok, in that it was fresh tasting but kind of boring. But hey, vegetables are kind of like that.On a completely different note, got T-Mobile 5G service for the first time since I picked up my new phone while sitting on their outside table.

During these crazy COVID times, my husband and I can count on 10 fingers the places we have felt truly safe and SSG is one of those places.We love sitting at the table to the right on the porch- it truly is your own private outdoor dining space and it could accommodate easily a party of six.If that special table is not available, they do have a patio with tables that seat up to four. Their bar area also has garage bay doors if you are comfortable sitting inside. It really is a beautiful space and we utilized it pre COVID.As for the the food and drinks, which is why you are reading still, they do have a nice selection of not only beer but craft cocktails. The prices are very reasonable for downtown. They have a varied selection for us beer snobs -IPAs-Gose-stouts. For the food I can give solid recommendations to the empanadas, carne asada fries and the avo toast from the brunch menu. The burgers come on a pretzel bun which is a deal -maker in my husbands book. The portions are delicious and plentiful. If you can ask for Cara for your sever. She is as charming as she is knowledgeable about the menu.SSG is a great little a lot that needs to be on your radar! Great for a date or a causal meal/brunch.

Went for Sunday brunch. The shrimp and grits was FIVE STARS good. But the men's room was an absolute f****** nightmare. It had not been touched since the previous night, when the toilet seat had been peed on profusely and the wastebasket was overflowing. We MAY be back because of the food.

I am a black bean burger junkie and I have to say this is THE best BB burger I have ever had! So goood. We also got the cauliflower bites and Mac and cheese. All were amazing!!! Highly recommend!

My husband and I have tried Spruce Street multiple times for both Breakfast and Dinner and we haven't tried a single thing on the menu that we didn't like. The grits are some of the best we have ever had and we always look forward to the Waffle of the Week and Cheesecake of the Day. Such a great spot in Winston. We can't wait to be back many, many more times!
Overall a good experience. Right now they don't have the full menu. Ill be happy to go back with that happens.

Terrific food and the drinks are absolutely amazing. You must try the mango mimosas, mac&cheese collard green empanadas, and the wings with gorilla sauce. Love this place one of Winston's best new restaurants!
