I love Steak n Shake. I used to like this one, but it is suffering, perhaps due to the pandemic.I just went through the drive-thru and it was eternal. When the food arrived, the fries were cold floppy and unsalted. Not as expected. My burger was goopy from all the sauce they poured on it.I will probably give them one more chance, but it certainly isn't the Steak n Shake of old.
Was driving by thinking of what to eat when I saw they had a drive through (didn’t know till now). Saw the Buttery Garlic Double Burger on the menu and decided on that combo. If you don’t mind a good old fashion greasy burger than you won’t be disappointed. It’s definitely buttery & Garlicky which I loved. It’s 2 patties so it should fill you up but I was definitely tempted to get another one(Did not for fear my wife would kill me). The fries are shoe string thin...
Felt bad for the owner. The foods are great and big portions. However, making sure you have a lot of time to wait like at least 25 mins because they will take time and do for your meal. 3 car already left when I am ordering foods.The owner should hire more, train more good and fast workers.
