Me & my boyfriend were craving Jamaican food we look at reviews to decide which place we wanted to go & decided this spot & glad we picked it! The location is great & the service is even better and convenient considering the locating and idea of you getting explore or shop at the flea market while waiting on your food! Food was a plus! It was good, we had juicy oxtails, rice & cabbage everything fresh!! Would recommend

Drove by this food truck on Country Club Rd while looking for something to eat while on a lunch break at work.. I was pleasantly surprised at the customer service as they were very nice and explained things to me as I’ve only had Jamaican food once before. The food was delicious and received a generous amount! I will eat here again!

I was so excited to eat here because of the high star rating. The food is not bad but it’s definitely not authentic. The jerk chicken is barbecue chicken and nothing had any spice to it. I also could not taste any coconut milk and the rice and peas and they were very few peas. The beef patty was pretty decent.

my wife and I hit up the food truck that's been hanging out on country club near advance auto. The food was excelent! the jerk chicken as superb, the talapia my wife had made me jealous! i wanted to trade her plates! the wait for the food is definitely worth every penny!

I’m from Charlotte and I’ve been looking for good places to eat in WS. Taste Jamaica food truck! I went to the one on Fairlawn Dr. and Reynolda Rd. (the truck is parked in the Shell gas station parking lot). I had no trouble with parking. The second food truck is located at Cooks Flea Market. I did my research on this food truck. When I arrived, I saw the sanitation score of 100 (rarely see that), cleanness is very important to me. I was greeted with a smile and awesome customer service. I noticed that they used gloves when preparing food too. David and Bianca (owners) matched my energy and excitement about the experience of trying their Jamaican food truck. I ordered the ox tails, cabbage veggie medley, rice and peas. Believe me, it did not disappoint. The meal was fresh, hot, and very tasty. The oxtail were seasoned and meaty. The gravy was delicious and the portion size was generous. The rice and peas hit the spot and the cabbage veggie medley complimented the oxtails. I can’t wait to go back. I’m going to try the jerk chicken dinner and a beef patty. Be sure to call ahead because they run out of food quickly. This will be my new “go to” when I want something very good to eat. Keep up the great work David and Bianca! I can tell you are proud of your business and you should be!!
