Our first time there today. Food was delicious, I pride myself on my biscuits, but those were amazing. Soft, fluffy.. melt in your mouth. Breakfast was delicious. I'll be back for lunch one day and try that.

The food is not near as good as it was.. Also the waitress that's stuby with blonde hair don't know her name has a really sour and funky way about her, that's what has hurt this place is ppl like her.. I don't plan to go back, not a favorite place anymore.. Also their rating has dropped to 94.....

Great place to eat, great service and food. Looks like the local hangout for the locals.

I work nearby The Carriage House and went there multiple times a week for months. The food rarely disappoints, but the service is truly atrocious. I had a few bad servers, but the last time I was there, my water stayed empty throughout my entire meal, the server only came to take my order and deliver the check (someone else brought my food to my table), and the server was just generally rude. I assume because I'm just one person they thought I wasn't going to tip well. The joke is definitely on them because I was a server for over 12 years and am an extremely generous tipper. I haven't gone back since my last experience. This is NOT a place I would recommend if you want friendly service.

Mediocre dinner. Fried flounder was edible. Fried okra was overcooked and old. Homemade chips were very good. Fried oysters were okay. Sauteed sweet potatoes had a strange taste. Hush puppies were bland. Waitress was lackluster. Had indigestion after the meal - oil that the food was fried in was old. Will not return.

The food was mostly good except some things that were over cooked or set too long.

Not at all what we expected. I got ribeye, it was tough. Salad with blue cheese which tasted or looked nothing like blue cheese. Baked potato was cold. Husband got a 3-item seafood plate, nothing tasted good except the shrimp. Onion rings were cold and tasteless.Totally overpriced for the quality of food . Won't be going back.
