Been here a handful of times. It is my daughter's go to for brunch! It is a bit hidden off of Stratford Rd., if you don't know the area you wouldn't find it. The girls love it here because of the breakfast/lunch menu. Breakfast is until 4pm and they say it's always friendly. Happy girls, happy-mom life so this one of our go-to's. Recommend for the variety in Breakfast and Lunch options! Every item on the menu is delicious!

I haven't been to the Carriage House Restaurant in years. I met several of my friends there for lunch. We met for lunch around 11:30. There was a steady flow of people coming and going. If you plan to eat lunch there, I would suggest you go early. We were seated right away and were given a menu so we could determine what we wanted to order. I got a vegetable plate and several people had flounder and spaghetti. We didn't have to wait long for our food so we had plenty of time to chat. Our waitress took great care of us. Even though they were busy and we sat there a while, she still came by to check in us. My vegetables were good and everyone else said their food was good. We will definitely be back.

My new favorite in Winston! Atmosphere is really tasteful and made me feel very comfortable. My son and I both got a breakfast platter that was absolutely perfect! We also shared a Belgian waffle. There was not a crumb of anything left! Thank you, Carriage House for wonderful food and our server Jessica for being such a sweetheart and great server! ?

I would never send out as a cook nor serve as a wait staff, the cheeseburger that I received. It was ridiculous. Dry meat with a slice of cheese on a dry bun. Looked and tasted like it was made hours before serving.

Today is 3-7-2024 & I got a chief salad to go & it was all lettuce with just a few pieces of ham, cheese & NO TURKEY & no SILVER WARE & I called the restaurant & the MANGER WAS VERY, VERY RUDE. $13.65 for a salad. I WILL NOT BE BACK to the CARRIAGE HOUSE WITH A RUDE MANAGER. I've been eating at this restaurant since 1970. The restaurant has changed since George left. POOR MANGER & HORRIBLE FOOD.

We had excellent fried oysters and stewed apples earlier today. Wonderful turkey rueben as well. Service was spot on, costs were reasonable, experience was fine.

Food is alway delicious. My go tos are the Greek spaghetti and the patty melt. The daily sides are delicious and there's a lot to choose from on the always available sides menu. Staff is friendly. I've never had a bad experience.

I wanted to try something different so I was told about the carriage house. I ordered the turkey special which was nasty the gravy was salty,the dressing looked like uncooked dry crumbs no taste what so ever it no moisture .Then the male person who took my order charged me $1.00 for gravy over my rice without letting me know.I was disappointed and wasted $17.00 on that meal .Maybe others had a better outcome. My first impression of the food wasn't good. I expected better

From start to finish we had a great lunch experience at this clean family restaurant. Wait staff all helped each other, were efficient and friendly/kind while tending a very busy lunch crowd. The food was very good and plentiful. I had the chicken tenders, best I’ve ever had, my husband had the grilled chicken skewers with great flavor. We’re already planning to return to try other what looked like tasty items! So nice to sit in a family atmosphere NOT being rushed through my meal. Thank you! See you soon!
