I ordered a half roast beef sandwich with horseradish along with a side of Mexican bow tie pasta. It was so good! Whenever I am in WS around lunch time, I always stop here and eat. This is one of my favorite places to eat!!

I wish I would have gotten the name of the young lady that works there. She made my day. Thank you. I got a turkey sandwich and potato soup with a lemon tart. It was all delicious.

Was back in town for a college reunion. Had to stop and get a sandwich and spicy sesame noodles. They are just as delicious as I remembered from 25ish years ago! Looks like the secret about the noodles is out, we were able to get the last little bit.

First time here. Service was very slow. Ordered a pastrami and cheese sandwich which was good. Also ordered a piece of spinach and egg quiche, and it was so-so; will not order again if I decide to ever go back - The Carving Board is very pricey!!

I love that they serve a variety of salads. I tried one of their pasta salads and I wish had a more flavorful dressing. It was too bland. Their chicken salad was yummy.

There isn't a better sandwich in town. I would willingly drown in the sesame noodles

Let me start by saying this, I've had some less than perfect experiences here in the last few months as well as a few others, but I want to share the one today that someone I think very highly of informed me about... first off, when someone asks for gluten free bread, there's no reason to have the worst kind of attitude about it. When you're in a customer service profession, the customer, most of the time, is always right. Instead, what she got was push back and excuses of why they wouldn't provide her with the bread she asked for, whether it was frozen, or they simply didn't want to. Second, preparing sandwiches without gloves on is a serious health violation and in this day and age out of the pandemic, is absolutely disgusting. If you're caught not using gloves and asked to change the bread out, accept you made an error and just do it. Third, communication behind the counter would have prevented the person who brought the sandwich out from questioning about the payment when payment had already been made, all while making a scene to a paying customer. Fourth, I don't know who your establishment hires for management, but when an on-duty manager decides to quickly take a phone order instead of assisting in diffusing the entire situation, it shows me that the culture here of quality products and even better customer service isn't the top of the priority list. The service, cleanliness, and product quality has taken a huge hit lately and this experience that was shared to me just really got under my skin, but the person who experienced this didn't deserve any of it.

Best deli around. The line can get very long but it moves quickly. Winston staple for 20 years.
