Brooks was a very helpful bartender and helped me decide what whiskey I wanted with my old fashion. His old fashion literally changed my bar experience. I’m at The Tap pretty regularly since I live close by, and it’s just one of those spots that always hits right. No frills, good drinks, chill crowd. Brooks is one of the bartenders over there and is the man. The guy’s a total pro — smooth with the pours, fast when it gets busy, and somehow always in a good mood. He remembers people, keeps the vibe right, and makes everyone feel welcome. Brooks is the kind of bartender who makes a place feel like your place. Stop in and enjoy the patio, darts, or trivia.

Brooks was genuinely one of the kindest humans I’ve met so far in Winston, wonderful hospitality, great drinks, lovely conversation. The vibes are on point too, dim lights, darts, a great deck, good music. Would highly recommend stopping by when you can!
