I wanted to love this place because I love all of the places in Reynolda Village, but I just can’t. Spend your money elsewhere. The kitchen manager was yelling at the employees, and I even witnessed one crying. Completely unacceptable and I will not return. Treat people better.

Completely disorganized service and unable to manage the order volume. After almost 1hr. waiting to receive the order, it came in pieces and bits so that no one in our party was able to enjoy eating together. Let alone, the third part of the order did not even come at all despite inquiries. Seems there is no one in charge. After 1 hr. wait, I was offered to have the price of the missing order refunded. So really, is this place overhyped for what it is and not cheap to boot.

So glad Theodore's moved into the old Silo location, because Reynolda Village really needed a good sandwich spot! The sandwiches at Theodore's are made fresh and are delicious! A friend and I split the Dairyman, which is brie and pear, and the Caprese--basically fresh tomato and mozzarella. Both were super yummy and came out on nice, toasted sourdough. Chips come with the sandwich, or for a little more you can get one of their other sides, like the pasta salad or tomato soup. They brought me the tomato soup instead of the chips, but when I asked they quickly rectified it and also left me the soup, which was surprisingly thick and tasty. You order at the bar and bring your number to a table, so your food will be delivered when it's ready. If in a group, I recommend putting all the sandwiches on the same order so they get delivered at the same time. We ordered during a busy Sunday and it seemed like they had forgotten about us, because it took nearly an hour for our sandwiches to show up (seems like a very long time for sandwiches). So I highly recommend ordering your sandwiches, and then finding a table, especially if there during a busy period. Inside seating is limited, but you can get sandwiches to go and sit outside when the weather is nice enough!Parking: Lots of free parking by the restaurant

I was so excited to try this place. We got turned away for service after waiting 20 minutes in line and the people in front of me got served! Then the manager/bartender also was too busy to serve us. They were very busy …but their response to our frustrations? Nothing but defensive and rude.

This is an attractive, quirky place, very segmented, nooks everywhere. There is a small, attractive bar area to the left (opens at 3PM), a large communal area in the center, sandwich ordering point to the right. I ordered the Italian Grinder (grinder is a term usually heard only in the Northeast) to go, really not a cozy place for eating on your on - ultimate hipster place! The sandwich (or grinder) was very, very nice - a decent amount of meat and cheese, nice array of toppings, on a good, not great, sub roll! Overall impression - good sandwich, very detached service (obviously l was not a regular, or deemed destined to be one - didn't know the code word), no response to my Thank You! Have a great day! At the least rude, at the most, arrogant and entitled! Would I come back, no freaking way! Most fast food drive thru's seem more appreciative! When you lose sight of what you need to do to build your customer base beyond the hipsters, this is where you are! Ambiance - 3.5 Food - 4 Service - 2 Value - 3.3

My partner and I were here for lunch. The menu is not what is posted online. Online they have a 5 cheese grilled sandwich. In reality it is only 3 cheeses for about the same price. It's ok but nothing more. I had my mind set on getting that 5 cheese grill and a cup of soup. We were there at 2 in the afternoon and they were out of soup. The place had only been open for a few hours and was out of soup. I am so sorry that we didn't get the clue and just leave then. My partner ordered the vegetarian sandwich. With all the ingredients listed for it we expected a thick sandwich. Unfortunately the fillings were less than one of the thin slices of bread. All you could taste was onion. It was like an overpowering onion sandwich. It was absolutely awful. Service was nonexistent. The place simply does not deliver what it promises. I can't imagine why we would give it a second chance.

Always seems to take forever to get a simple meal like a grill cheese sandwich or a cup of soup. Food is ok. Service definitely needs improvement.

We met another couple here last night for pre-dinner cocktails. I have been coming to this physical space since the mid-1980's when it was "The Soda Shop", but I love this incarnation. The breezeway is now enclosed and houses a large farmhouse table and benches for group or shared seating, the bar is on one side and the market and meal prep is on the other. It's an eclectic space with room at the bar, mix and match seating, several tables and some pretty Christmas trees and cozy fire ablaze for us. We settled down on some velvet couches in the back room nook and ended up talking our way through two cocktails each and two hours (making our dinner much later than anticipated) but we got caught up in catching up and had a lovely time. I know they opened in late summer and I'm a bit sad I haven't been here sooner! It would be great start for date night or a girlfriend evening. The drinks were good, and there was a variety of sandwiches and small bites on the menu. We had plans for a different dinner so we didn't partake in that. We all generally thought it was a sweet little spot to grab a drink with friends. For a Saturday night a week before Christmas, it was busy but not jam packed and I would definitely go back again.

I'll start by saying the aesthetic in this place is sooo cute, very market classy vibes. For lunch I got the the "Spicy aloha sunrise" sandwich which is turkey, bacon, cheddar, lettuce & chipotle mayo with a side of homemade kettle chips. Honestly the sandwich tasted a lot better than it looks. The chipotle mayo was definitely homemade too! I wasn't a huge fan of the sub roll bread, it didn't seem very fresh. However the homemade kettle chips and ranch were on point! I think the ranch is homemade as well, it had a hint of dill pickle flavor to it which I loooove. One random thing I'll share that I didn't love as a pregnant woman was the seating, lots of bar stools and benches without backs. Certainly knit picking here but I like to be comfy when I eat! The service was pretty slow, however I was dining with company so I didn't mind the extra time to chat. Overall I will definitely go back, I'd like to try the pimento cheese and hot honey sandwich next time!

This is a really cute little bar/restaurant tucked into Reynolda Village. I went there with a group and we were really happy. They have Christmas cocktails at the moment, and seasonal specialties throughout the year. I can only comment on the "Christmas Cookies" drink (spiced rum and cinnamon liqueur), which was delicious, but everyone else was happy too. There's a restaurant across from the bar area (they're separated by an area for tables). Several of us got sandwiches. They weren't exceptionally large meals, but it was really tasty. It went well with the drinks and social hour that we were there for. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's definitely a place on the re-visit list.

Great atmosphere, was apprehensive at first due to the review, but I ordered a caprese sandwich and it was great! Only thing I guess I could say would be that the bread was small and uneven on the sandwich so it was a bit difficult to eat but otherwise, super cute place. I would host a small function here like a bridal or baby shower if I had it coming up.

A cute place to have lunch or a cocktail in the evening. Our sandwiches were delish but it was too early for cocktails, at least for us!
