Always good food and the homemade icecream shop is an added bonus. One of our favorite places to eat out.

everything about the cham was very thin.no way the ham or tomato was sliced with a knife,like 1/16 of an inch.the chicken was thin and crunchy

I stopped by today at 10:56 to get lunch. I saw online they did not open until 11 but when I arrived the door sign said “open” and door was unlocked so I went on in. I’m not one to go in a place early but all signs pointed to they were ready for business but that was not the case. I walked in and the lady behind the counter looked at me and then stared at a clock behind the counter for a few seconds and told me I had 10 more mins and at this time was 10:58. She said she doesn’t know why the door was unlocked or who turned the sign. I just stood there as she then said “Well what do you want to order?” I told her I wanted to order 3 meals and she said
“I just cook, our cashier isn’t even here” LOL I said never-mind and walked out. Ever since management changed the place isn’t the same. It was a special place for me and my family but I don’t care to go there again. The rating was a 91, hotdogs just sitting in container of liquid, bacon, mushrooms, none of which appeared to be fresh. Just a disappointment all around.

I was running errands, stopped here for the first time in my life to get a sandwich. I ordered the Italian sub without 1000 island dressing, (I've worked in and run restaurants for about 20 years, never heard of 1000 Island dressing on an Italian sub.), got home, sat down, and first bite had the collagen rind on the pepperoni. Said rind is supposed to be removed before slicing the meat, but not a big deal, I took the sub apart and peeled the rind off all of the pepperoni and finished the sub. Overall, the taste was good aside from the toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, and banana peppers) being extremely unevenly placed. Service was okay, seemed as though two employees were more interested in each other rather than their Jobs, but from the body language I assume the male employee was a manager and the female employee was only a cashier. Felt as though the only professional employees were the two gentleman preparing the orders. Would not go out of my way to get food here again, but if I happen to be in the area again for some reason I may give it a second chance. Not great, not terrible.
