Our last 4 take out orders have been very disappointing. TJ’s Deli has been a regular part of our local family’s ordering out/ in for 38 years. We have NEVER been disappointed until the sale of the restaurant.Quality remained for a period of time and we were hopeful, but our last 4 interactions have been poor.Staff is very friendly, but food quality has declined.I spoke with the owner the 2nd time the chicken grill on rye was on awful bread. Not just thin, but unpleasant in taste. The owner informed me he had heard same from others. He stated it was not his fault and that he hoped to correct it. He offered to make me a different sandwich post our experience immediately, but not in a future order.No thanks.BLT, nothing like it was. Overdone and small amount of bacon.Italian chicken soup, actually as a side contained NO chicken. I called back to inquire and was informed that,” that was due to person doing the scooping.”We hope they pull their quality back together quickly!!Sad to lose such a terrific community lunch/ dinner deli!!!Wishing them well!!!

I have always been impressed with their quality of food and services. I highly recommend the Grilled Chicken Taco (Handmade) Salad, Hot Dogs, and Homemade Chips. Great varieties of delicious and yummy food??Parking: There is Handicap Parking right in front of entrance. Many parking spaces. However, may have too walk a little further, because this Delii is often very busy. Also, designated Carry Out vs Inside Dinning.Kid-friendliness: Always see many families with children.Wheelchair accessibility: Two Handicap Parking Spaces. Between spaces, entrance is flat for using wheel chairs, canes, crutches, etc.

I had the chicken salad bowl. Homemade Chicken salad served on a huge bed of salad with feta, sunflower seeds, crasins, mandarin oranges, and inside a taco shell. A very unique combo and I was really unsure about what dressing to order with it. I ended up eating the chicken salad by itself, the salad with balsamic, and the tortilla shell on the side. Everything was good! I just probably would order something different next time. My friend had the chicken salad sandwich and we both agreed it was good chicken salad!! I wish they offered it on sourdough or a croissant. would recommend looking at the menu before hand, because it's a huge menu and you order at the counter when you walk in. Inside was clean, with lots of seating, but we did have to wipe ours down. No long wait. Self serve drinks and condiments. I also loved they have to go containers that were easy to grab. Some great looking ice cream too! Great place for a quick lunch with lots of options.

The #7 Cham had been my go-to since they opened when I was in middle school! I normally don't like white meat chicken, because it's dry, BUT NOT HERE! It's moist and delicious. I usually get fruit with it and then an order of the homemade chips with ranch. The perfect balance of salty and sweet in this meal!

When a relative started working here, we got reintroduced to this deli. They cut everything fresh each morning and cook as it's ordered. The home-made ice cream is to die for!! Some of our favorites are the roast beef sandwich, Thai chicken salad, and the chicken and vegetable soup. Jazz, Nikki, and MB are our favorite employees.
We've lived in this town for a lot of years but had never been to this longstanding deli. They have several locations, this was the Country Club location. Because we were unfamiliar with their menu we tested the waters with something small. Cream of chicken soup w wild rice( I'm a soup lover) was horrible. It was thick as paste and Luke warm I can't comment on the taste because the textures turned me off. The hot dog chili dog ( how wrong can you go?) was all slaw little chili. The fries were not fresh and not hot. These were basic menu items done poorly. Now I owe my husband next 2 picks on where we have lunch.

Well Done does not mean , hard as a brick!! Bacon was leather!! Bread was hard!! Will not go back!! New owners definitely stepped down Quality and 100% of service!!!! 1 mile away at O’Briens deli you can have the Best sandwich of your life !! I promise!! Soup is amazing, desserts!! Drive the mile!!
