Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I ordered two smoothies and a cheese quesadilla, easy right? No, not to this tropical smoothie. I ordered 15 minutes before arriving. Once I arrived the manager I’m assuming asked did I have a pick up, I replied yes he gave me the order but forgot my smoothies. So then he looks at me and says “Do you need something?” Ugh duhhhh I need my smoothies man!!! So he says “oh you gotta ask that side (smoothie side)” so I ask them and they tell me they ain’t make my smoothies cause they have no pineapple. Why yall ain’t call? Why not let me know if yall had more than 10 minutes to make the order. If you want a smoothie go to the other tropical smoothie or smoothie king is even better!!!

Update I went 2 days ago and I’m just so disappointed. How do you mess up a cheese quesadilla?

You are pathetic.... at the prices. I get it though. It uses real fruits rather than chemicals like other places. Still neat and good tho

Smoothies are decent if not overpriced. Person at window had a poor attitude. DO NOT DOWNLOAD APP FOR FREE SMOOTHIE, THEY WILL NOT HONOR IT. SCAM!

There's only one other car here, have my two small children in car seats and ordered online 30 mins ago for one smoothie. The drive thru workers REFUSE to hand me my app order through the drive thru window. I have to park, get my kids of our their seats, go inside and pick it up. What kind of assanine policy is this? I walk in and there's legit FOUR employees standing in the store with zero customers. And one couldn't reach my smoothie on the app orders counter and hand it to me? This world and lack of common sense/helpfulness is insanity .

This place is so hit or miss. I love Tropical Smoothie. I've been to several locations and have always been pleased....except for this one. Unfortunately, this one in Winston-Salem is really close to my home. Twice I have ordered online and when I got there for pickup they hadn't even started my order yet. Understandable if they were busy, but they weren't. Tonight I picked up my order and my Smoothie wasn't frozen. I basically bought an 8 dollar fruit drink. Oh, this is the second time this has happened too. Obviously whoever owns this place is never there.

I have been to this place many times and I know that staffing is an issue, but this is getting out of hand! 33 minutes in a drive through is unacceptable! Once in the drive through there is no way out unless you jump the curb. For this reason the drive through should take priority, Better manager needed!

I love the smoothies I just wish they weren't so expensive. But I will say it is worth the money paid when you take a sip, that's for sure‼️

The owner of this establishment might want to come and check out the way this establishment is being run. The doors are closed and locked an hour before closing, not allowing anyone in unless you are a woman who needs to use the restroom. Not allowed to order food but only smoothies past 8:00 p.m.
Employees are sitting around hanging out while taking a long time to make smoothie drinks that shouldn't take long at all.
