I was traveling with my children and we visited this location twice, once on Saturday and once on Sunday. We waited 40 minutes for our food on Saturday and after ordering and they forgot to make one of our smoothies. No big deal, she apologized and made it right away. But after what happened Sunday it's clear there is a pattern.

Sunday we ordered $60 worth of drinks and food (not including the tip I added) and waited a considerable about of time. One of our Nutella Acai bowls was ordered without granola, without coconut, without chia seeds, and without honey; substitute the banana for extra strawberries. After finally receiving our food, that particular bowl had no Nutella. After my 11 year old daughter walked up to the counter to have the Nutella to be added she came back and told me they said no. I went up to the register and explained what happened and was also told no, it wasn't ordered with Nutella and if I would like Nutella added I would be charged for it. Despite even having all the extras removed and paying the same price. I stood silently and finally agreed, so shocked at their dismissive attitude towards their mistake. Your employee proceeded to ring me up AND run my credit card for a whopping 27 cents. No apology. And proceeded to give our table dirty looks the rest of our visit.

I see why they're rating is a 93. Had a online order, get there and the order wasn't even looked at. On top of that they didn't even have their ingredients for the smoothie. The whole vibe in there was shitty to be honest.

I’m full Karen with this review.

I counted seven employees. Three worked. One woman on register, a young man working register and sandwich, and one woman who was in charge of making all smoothies.

The four other young women stood around on their phone, often clustered together, sometimes between the back or getting in the way.

It took 32 minutes on a random 2 o clock to make a single smoothie. The waiting crowd was usually 12-15 . (Faces blacked out, two booths of people just waiting not pictured)

Women’s bathroom broken. Men’s bathroom was a mess. The place is sweltering (thermostat is 78)

This manager needs to figure this store out. I’m not coming back.

Props to the one woman (face blurred) who is making every smoothie and literally holding this entire business on her shoulders.

I just got home after purchasing nearly $30 worth of food. I purchased two of the Chicken Chipotle flatbread sandwiches and two Sunrise Sunset smoothies. The sandwiches barely had any chicken and there was only a half strip of bacon in each. The smoothies tasted as if way more ice was used than fruit/flavoring. They were not as sweet as the last time. The absolute highlight of my visit was seeing a former student behind the counter.

I loved going to Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Arizona as I lived there most of my life and it was a nice cool, sweet treat to get when it is hot outside. But honestly here in North Carolina this location and another one not far from this one just do not meet the same standards. They were out of their yummy kale slaw which is my favorite side and didn't even explain there was a side missing when I came to pick up my order until I grabbed someone to ask why I was missing my side. There was no air-conditioning inside today at all and I was dripping sweat all over as I was forced to wait inside with a bunch of other people after doing a mobile order to make it more convenient, but they got it wrong so I had to wait in line to redo my smoothie. My favorite smoothie is the Bahama Mama with no strawberries and add banana which I have gotten for years there and it was not done right this time. So I kindly explained how it was watery and was not looking the right color it normally does. I had to ask 3 times for them to redo it each time they said okay but never got it done. When I finally got it redone the second time the girl said it wasnt having flavor because it had no strawberries. I explained to her that I always get it like this without strawberries. I am very upset with the poor customer service here. It isn't a good look for the company. And I am going to complain to corporate as this is just not good service at all. They didn't even say if they will have the kale slaw back in the future they just said I don't know with no sign about it at all. Last time also was my birthday month and they did not honor my free smoothie then either. The so called manager came out and said with a blank face that they didn't see if on my account and I told them my birthday too with my ID. I am a very upset customer with this location at this point and I love the food there and the smoothies, but it is sad, what a shame! The young staff there could be more professional and a little bit more friendly. It takes two seconds to say have a nice day and little effort to smile! I may just order delivery from now on as it is so annoying going there with the passive-aggressive attitude the staff has there if I even order there again!

To the shorter woman with dreads that doesn’t know how to speak apparently and just points at stuff I think you need a new job cause ya seem miserable. My 3 year old can at least use her words maybe you should try it next time someone comes in, you might even get a tip

I ordered my smoothie online. I have 2 babies under 2. This is why I order online. I had to take my babies out of the car 2 times once I picked up my food, the first smoothie tasted like water. I asked for it to be remade. The smoothie still was very watery. I ordered a strawberry banana for my toddler. The smoothie was not smooth, you could see ice chunks and banana pieces floating in the smoothie. My toddler did not consume this smoothie. He did not want it. I did not feel like taking my kids out for a third time to have them remake my smoothie. I will definitely make sure the smoothies are correct next time. This has never been an issue at this location. The usual manager has been no where in site for a while. I even called the store to see if they could remake the smoothie so that I would not have to take the kids out again. The phone was did not ring it went straight to vm.
