Hostess was extremely rude. We walked out before eating. Spent my money elsewhere and will never come back.

The Old Fashioned Carolina Burger at Village Tavern at Reynolda Village is a revelation. The menu description doesn't even come close. Imagine a brioche bun – a symphony of soft and sturdy – cradling a juicy, perfectly cooked beef patty beef patty that explodes with savory goodness in every bite. But hold on folks, because here's where the real magic happens. The chili, slaw, dill pickles, and chopped onions join the party, creating a flavor symphony unlike any other. Each ingredient plays its part flawlessly, not overpowering but harmonizing in delicious perfectionThen come the sweet potato fries – the perfect opening or closing act. Lightly dusted with maple sugar, they're a sweet, crispy serenade that'll have you humming with delight. Pro-tip: Don't share. These fries deserve a standing ovation, all to yourself.

I love Village Tavern, but was disappointed at the 90 Health Dept rating. That's barely an A. Our food was just meh. My husband's shrimp and grits were more like soup, VERY runny. My Blackened chicken Alfredo was very bland and the Alfredo was also very runny.

Tried the salmon with the garlic mashed potatoes and green beans last night. It was delicious!
Stopped at the Reynolda House and Gardens on our way home from Williamsburg to Florida. Stumbled upon the Village Tavern and so happy we did. The staff was amazing, friendly and attentive. The food was even better than expected. Fresh and amazing. We had lunch and the place was filled , so I'm guessing it's a very popular spot. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area, so happy we decided to stop in.
Pear martinis made by Mel are the best ever!!!!! I will be sure to come on Sunday Monday Wednesday and Thursdays from now on since I now know her schedule.I decided to change places to get a pear martini because she was not at this location when we came on several occasions to make them any longer.Everywhere that I've been did not make them as well as she did. I have been to SO MANY different places trying to find one like she makes and have been very unsuccessful.A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO MEL!!!SO HAPPY THAT I'VE FINALLY GOTTEN A PERFECT MARTINI AGAIN!!!!!!!YOU ROCK!!!!

didn’t even get to eat. quoted 15 minutes, waited for an HOUR and fifteen minutes. there was a slew of hostesses and none of them could tell us a time. not their fault, but certainly a management issue. horrible. it was 4 pm on a sunday.

Nothing went right. The food was not worth the money and they came out with burnt sweet potato fries when they had my order wrong. There were also flies EVERYWHERE. I do not

I called the restaurant to inquire about reservations for a large party, but the response I received was disappointingly cold. It sounded like they didn't care to address my question or accommodate our needs. This lack of attentiveness leaves me hesitant to consider dining there.
