First off i would like to start by saying the employees were over the top super nice the first day that i are here.CRAAAZZZIII STORIII I initially intended on eating at wingstop but upon arrival i noticed a note on the door. Basically the wingstop employees were boycotting because they hadn't gotten paid. So i went to waldos. I was so indecisive which is nothing beyond the norm, but the cashier was super patient, suggestive, and sweet. She even gave me a free buttered toast. I ordered the mild lemon pepper wings EXTRA CRISPY ALL FLATS with the potato wedges. Y'ALL!!! THOSE WINGS were so frigging fkn good!!! I ate them down to the bone, not a morsel insight and i haven't been eating wings like that lately. KISSES TO DA CHEF!!! But those wedges awww man i haven't had wedges like that since kfc 2006. And the seasoning for the wedges, omg put me some in a cup buttercup. But yea they were so impressive and impressionable that i went back the next day which was on a Thursday(89 cent wing day) and was not disappointed!!! I got the same flavor wings. O and the sweet thai chili wings are also amazing!!!! MUST TRY

For the price you shouldn't have to pay extra for sauce to be on the wings you've already paid for...or to ask not to add thr little baby wings or legs they sneak in there counting it as a whole wing. When did companies stop caring to treat the customers better than always making them pay for services that should be offered by the company. Fix your business Waldos, you are slacking.

Waldo’s Wings is my favorite local wing spot. This place has been a staple in Winston-Salem since I was just a kid. Now, thirty years later, I am still going back here, to get my wing and Hot Chip fix!
In my 30 years of dining here, I have honestly not tried much of the menu. I am a bone-in-wings kind of guy, so I always go for that. Occasionally, I will get their cheesesteak, which is pretty decent. I always go for the “house” hot sauce, which has a great kick and flavor. You can get the house sauce in mild, medium, hot, and extra hot.
I personally love the “hot” as it is an excellent spice mix and has a good peppery flavor. Waldo’s Wings is my go-to Wing Spot in Winston-Salem, NC and it should be yours as well!

The food is consistently great tasting and fresh. I feel like the fry portion is a little small but it’s not that bothersome to me. Sometimes I have to wait longer than I expect for a refill. Otherwise, I have nothing but compliments. Wing night is a great night to go.
