Disappointing take-out experience, after deciding to try again following a long break of bad dine- in visits. We were hopeful. The positive: the order was ready on time, correct, and the hostess was very welcoming and prompt.

The vegetable soup was VERY old, overcooked, greasy, salty, and inedible. My clean spoon became greasy from my fingers after simply removing the plastic wrap seal from the cup, the pic is shown after rinsing off the lid. Upon trying a sip of the broth, I noticed a cinnamon-like spice that doesn’t belong in vegetable soup. But neither does brownish corn, grey Lima beans or shriveled up peas - and the grease? Vegetable soup should not have a greasy sheen on top. I poured it out. Yuck. The Greek chicken salad looked promising at first, though I found it questionable to place hot chicken on a cold salad for a to—go order. Removing the chicken, I find sad, wilted thin tomato slices so old that break apart when touched, limp soggy cucumbers, tiny shreds of barley there green peppers, smothered with white onion slivers that blended in with the shredded lettuce, making it very difficult to pick them off. The chicken, while cooked nicely was very bland and disappointing. The Greek vinaigrette was…weird. It has little clumps of what I think is Texas Pete and adds an unexpected, unwelcome, and unnecessary heat level. I like spicy food, but hot sauce has no place in a Greek salad. Also odd that there were no peppercinis, so perhaps it was intended to be a replacement in the dressing. I used my own dressing and only got a quarter through the salad because I was so annoyed by the aged and definitely not fresh ingredients. Hubs didn’t like his meal either, but my angry little fingers are tired. Each visit has been marked by un-fresh food served, but the people working that we encountered there have been great so this was a hard review to write. Would hope they take this feedback as areas to improve on.

Edit to add: Hubs had a very sick stomach overnight and the morning after.

If you like watching people come in, wait to get waited on and listen to the wait staff argue about tables, this is the place for you. I give this,at one time good, restaurant a big fat ZERO!!

1st time dining. Food was very good with generous portions. Wide variety on the menu. Our server, Tabitha, was great! Close to I-40 near Winston Salem. Highly recommend if you're traveling nearby!

A great place to get some great food at a great price. Service is excellent and quick, Tabitha was our server and went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of and has a great personality.
Will definitely be returning.

Decided to give them another chance since I heard original management was back. They failed me, I'm done. Sandwich was missing elements, fries were half cooked and cold, my drink was not in the bag which is probably a good thing because the bottom of the paper bag fell completely out when spaghetti sauce leaked from the container. I'm just done, there's so many good places nearby. Is sad because it used to be so good with good prices. That changed too.

Food was delicious! Our waitress, Tabitha, provided EXCELLENT service! We'll definitely be back!

West Town is Always Phenomenal…. They did mess up my order one time out of all the times I’ve either ordered out or came in for lunch . Even then I’d still give 10 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Always great customer service and food always hit the spot. They even love when I bring Bleu

Breakfast...Server was very friendly. Eggs were perfect & delish. Grits looked like oatmeal & not cooked long enough...inedible & exchanged for hashbrowns. But I'm a grits girl...biscuit was a cold lump of tasteless flour prepared elsewhere. Coffee excellent! Sadly I can't go there for just a basic breakfast.

when did they start charging for drink refills on fountain drinks???

Incorrect items repetitively being put in orders placed. The receipts showed the correct items, check the order and find the wrong items. After numerous times of getting the wrong item I spoke to the owner. The owner was very rude, unprofessional, gave no apology just said “You don’t have your come back here anymore!” but he gladly took payment for the incorrect orders. I do not recommend this restaurant due to the lack of ethics, courtesy, and professionalism
