I love Yeh Mons, best authentic jamaican spot in winston. I usually just get jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage & fried plantains. NEVER go wrong with that, the portions are hefty. The oxtails are always good but most the time are really small so I don't get them, if you call and ask them if the oxtails are big or small they are honest. Love the beef patties & curry chicken here as well.

I received the wrong order then returned and got my food and the jerk chicken was extremely hard. So I trashed it. This was my favorite place to treat myself to oxtails at one time. I was trying something new this time and I was so disappointed. I wasted my money.

I called and placed my order over the phone. Was told 15 minutes. I got there right at 15 minutes and it was at least 8 people crammed into the small door way to pickup food. I was told mine wasn’t ready. Several people in the door way said they had been waiting along time for their food. After about 35 minutes I was given my food. The food was bland and cold like it had been sitting out somewhere. It was sad to say the least. Definitely not worth going back for !!

customer service is always good I haven't been here in a while however, the curry goat is super spicy as if it taste like Indian curry, and there was a lot of bones in the goat, and in the oxtails, but overall the food was edible.

Everything was really great and service was definitely better than the last time I went there. The food is also well cooked and great the only problem I had was the beef patty I bought was super dry to the point where it looks like there’s no beef in it but it’s just stuff at the bottom.

The food looks good, but unfortunately I didn't have an hour to kill just waiting in line watching a single employee go back and slowly cook each order before taking the next one.
That's not a business, it's a hobby.

Ordered the jerk chicken to go for dinner tonight and 2 beef patties (I was starving haha) I've been craving Jamaican food recently and this hit the spot. Perfectly seasoned and tender meat cooked in a complex fruity and spicy sauce. And the cabbage is a nice and bright flavor to accompany it! Oh and the portion size was ! 11/10.

The food tastes good but the portions are extremely small! If the food wasn’t so tasty I wouldn’t come back. We got the curry goat which usually comes with a lot of bone. And we got the brown stew fish which is usually a bunch on onions and gravy with tiny pieces of fish. Very expensive as well.

This was a terrible experience would not recommend. I went out with my friend and my mom and we went to this place at a food truck. After the long line we finally ordered and we had to wait almost 20 minutes for our food and when we got it, my friend only got 5 pieces of oxtail and the coleslaw was spicier than the rice and peas. I got chicken wings and festivals and the chicken was so bland that I physically could not eat it yet somehow the wings were still bright red (also it was missing a wing). And the festivals were so unbearably oily. My mom got the pepper shrimp and festivals and her shrimp was awful like it was literally mush, it was so bad that if she ate anymore of it she would've thrown up.
