I pass this establishment often and decided to give it a try during my lunch break as it has positive reviews. I ordered the Spaghetti Meatsauce Baked With Ricotta & Mozzarella. The ratio of sauce and spaghetti was off. The sauce was watery, the meat sauce could easily be mistaken for vegetarian as there was hardly any meat and very little to none ricotta and mozzarella nor was it baked. It's a hard pass for me.

My boyfriend and I love Zito! Very quaint and pretty artwork inside. Feels like you’re in Greece for the night. Enjoy not eating at a big chain restaurant. The lemon potatoes, chicken souvlaki, pizza boats, and tzatziki are all great!

Great experience on this visit to Zito! Firstly, I love the uniqueness of the menu. Where else can you get Canadian, Greek, and pizza all in one spot? The poutine was grand. The fries were hand cut and there was no shortage of cheese curds. The brown gravy had a ton of flavor. Exactly as a traditional poutine should be, but they had other fun poutine options like Philly steak and pizza style. I really was craving Greek food so I decided to try the spanakopita platter. Huge portion! It had four nice sized pieces of spanakopita and it was perfectly crispy with a nice filling. It also came with a Greek salad, rice, pita, tzatziki, and seasoned potatoes that were really unique and flavorful. The prices here were great for the portion sizes. Our server, Lucy Belle, was great throughout the whole experience! We really enjoyed her. Zito has something for everyone and it's a unique, locally owned joint that's worth checking out!

The food was BLAND and terrible, all of the food looked white. It was disgusting. The service was so SLOW. I used to love this restaurant when the owner was still alive. They obviously don't have a chef anymore and just serve up mediocre frozen food. It makes me sad to say, but I will never eat here again.

If you dine out often enough, you'll have a few experiences that will try your patience, your tolerance, your very culinary soul - this was one of those times! I had finally made it to this small spot with a varied menu - Greek and Italian dishes, Pizza, Sandwiches, Burgers and Salads. The interior is a narrow rectangular shape (often called a shotgun house configuration), with perhaps a dozen small tables, functional but not much else. It was obvious that this was one of those restaurants that simply wasn't ready for business when the open sign goes on. I placed my order - a Gyro with a Greek side salad, a Stromboli, and a Mythos to drink while I was waiting for the take out - had I known the wait I would have I would have doubled down on the beer. I was told that the cook was on the way - what the hell! I decided to stick it out. Someone came in looking for their call in order, taken at 11:25 - given the same spiel. According to my ticket the order was placed at 11:32, rec'd the order at 12:03. I took my food and headed out in disappointment and a no small amount of anger - no apology for the mess that this had been - but both the disappointment and anger were due for considerable more fuel! The Greek Salad had nothing to recommend it - some chopped Romain, a touch of tomato, a mere dusting of feta, and if there was any dressing it was well disguised! The Stromboli came with only 2 toppings ($11.95), wanted to add salami, but it was not available - seriously? Added Green Pepper(s) and Onions at $1.25 EACH - bringing the total to a whopping $14.45. Compare with Coppola, 3 toppings for $10.50; Vinnie's, 3 toppings for $11.50; Francesco's, 3 toppings for $8.25; Pizza Greco, 3 toppings for $10.45!!! For this over inflated price I received a Stromboli that was way overcooked on the outside, doughy on the inside with mostly cheese, a smattering of meat, and a handful of undercooked veggies, and a container of Marinara Sauce that was stone cold and tasteless. The Gyro ($12.50) was of the same dumpster fire ilk as the above items. The pita was tough and chewy, the construction was consistent with a grenade explosion - the tzatziki was clumped in a small portion of the pita, a few coarsely chopped cherry tomatoes in a single spot at the top of whatever this was, a single piece of chopped green pepper, no onion, and two limp, lonely FF - Yeap, FF! The Gyro meat was, at best, pedestrian! All in all , a colossal mess - everything simply ill prepared and then thrown together. Don't know who's running this ship, but seems time to board the lifeboats!!!! Ambiance - .5 Food - .5 Service - .5 Value - .1

Picked this place based on the ratings. Service was very slow and we were one of two tables in the restaurant. We had to request everything from napkins to refills. Mozzarella sticks were overcooked and the cheese blew out of most of them. However, the marinara was excellent to dip the fried breading into. The pizza was excellent and definitely made with quality cheese and excellent sauce, but the crust was bready, crumbly and not reminiscent of a pizza crust. Maybe this was an off day at this restaurant, however based on our experience I would not return.
Love the food but the last few times I came they are not open during their normal business hours. No note no voice mail.

Found this place by accident because another restaurant was closed. Glad I stumbled across it. My pizza was hot and delicious. Customer service was excellent. I will stop by again if I'm in the area.

There's a lot of great reviews but we did take out instead of eating in. Our order was wrong ( not the biggest deal, we ate it anyway) and just not impressive.Please do not respond to my review.
