“Listen hear if they had one of these in NYC with the same service, manners, friendliness, AND food I might never cook again. They make Pork Skins warm & fresh (WAIT WHAAAAT!) It's fast food but they bring your food to u. Aaaand they let u taste test COME ON! LOVE, LOVE LOVE THOSE HOT FRESH HUSH PUPPIES. The only things that weren't to appetizing was this Brunswick Stew & the corn bread. The next time we visit we will go back there.“

“The young lady that took my order named Nakia had amazing customer service, was polite, and respectful. When ordering she use yes ma’am, no ma’am is there anything else you need ma’am? OK what else can I get for you? She was very patience when it came to ordering unlike other servers at this location. I love coming to a fast food restaurant and the employees are excited to be there and take honor in assisting you. Keep up the good work Nakia.“

“Outstanding customer service, Victoria, I appreciate the time taken to explain the menu options and offering suggestions to satisfy my family. Thank you. Food was delicious, we went for a weekend lunch and with 4 of us we got 4 meats 2 sides. Everything was delicious, the sliced brisket was so good my 10 year old kept widening his eyes mumbling, “it’s melting in my mouth”, I personally enjoyed the turkey the most but nothing let us down. Matt helped us on the floor with, some ketchup and Alabama white sauce, and even brought by some smoked chicken samples for our table, quite tasty, was very friendly and helpful. Thanks Matt. Sauces are unique and 6 are in the table personal preference will dictate your selection. Thanks MISSION team, I appreciate your efforts, they appeared top notch today, and it reflected in the experience. Will be back.“

“Get there early, cash only, patience required, but trust me, that chicken is cluckin' worth it!!!
If you find yourself yearning for the the chicken after about 11am, don’t get too attached—it sells out faster than the free samples at Sam's Club.
No worries though, the BBQ is so good it’ll have you squealing with delight! Ha!
Pro tip: order the extra side of sauce. It’s like a one-way ticket to hog heaven, and trust me, you won’t want to miss that ride!
Tip the window lady.... She doesn't write anything down and remembers every. single order! Picture of part of the line at 10am on a weekday.“

“Skylight Inn BBQ is the very best in Eastern NC BBQ in my opinion. It is simple and delicious. Wood cooked to perfection whole hog pork . Slaw,cornbread,and of course the banana pudding are a must addition to the BBQ.“

“We drove by on Wednesday around 11:30am and the number of cars in the parking lot was a big surprise. Went inside and joined the line. The menu boards were a little confusing for first-time visitors and the atmosphere is no frills but as the bare necessities. After enjoying the fantastic food, the never ending line of customers and busy parking lot make perfect sense. It was so worth it! My bbq chicken was awesome. My husband devoured his fried catfish and said that the Lima beans were the best he’d ever had. It was so good that we are planning a return trip for tomorrow (Saturday). Don’t miss out! You won’t be sorry… or leave hungry.“

“Today is an awesome day to be at Longhorn in Greenville, North Carolina! We were one of the first three customers today when the doors opened and they have a wonderful staff. Customer service is awesome and Miss Catherine who is training today. turned on to the crispy Brussel sprouts something I have never tried before! I will be cooking these at home now.“
