“Please read everything - I want to be sure everyone gets a solid understanding about Marlins and what about it. First you need to know that's its a private club in which you can very easily get a membership by walking in and asking for one from the bartender. They don't serve food, just alcohol so by law setting up a private club is necessary. That would be the most intimidating part BUT otherwise the best part is going in and having a place where nothing else matters. You get a drink and socialize. It's a small cozy bar where sitting in a corner by yourself really aint an option. You're going to meet people because that's Marlins. I leave it to you to describe how the vibe and atmosphere is but it just sticks with you. You'll be back again!“

“This is one of my favorite places to go on the weekends. The atmosphere is great, pool tables are kept in good shape, and the bartender's are pretty knowledgeable about the drinks. I especially enjoy when they have live bands play. It seems like it livens the place up. I would highly suggest to anyone to check it out for themselves, and not to judge a book by it's cover.“

“We were a party of 12. They seated us promptly. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great. There weren’t too many patrons there the night we went. This place is fabulous inside and out. Our server and service couldn’t be beat. It’s too bad they don’t get more business because it’s beautiful inside and out. We will definitely be back.“

“I’ve been coming here off and on with friends for drinks and the occasional bite to eat. Tonight it was myself and 3 girlfriends. I ordered the Philly, 2 burgers, and that special got ordered. Girl let me tell you when I say that food was the best I have ever had! It’s was cooked perfect. Then on top of it, that fine white boy with all the tattoos. Child, he fine and can cook. Let’s just say I will be back sooner than later.“

“Very unassuming bar & grill that serves cajun style food. You will not be disappointed. Our table had the loaded steak fries, wedge salad and gumbo combo, cajun chicken alfredo, and the shrimp & grits. Everything served was delicious. We went on a Sunday afternoon, so it was not crowded. Located in ECU college town, I assume it gets busy on the weekends, but I am unsure.“

“We made a last min reservation for 6 and they were able to get us in. Craft drinks were amazing and the food was even better. I ordered the calamari ap and was not what i was expecting and almost didnt try it, but after i did i could not stop eating it. I had Beef Wellington for the first time and it might be my new favorite.“

“My wife and I decided to try this place for a night out, and we had an excellent time. My wife got the crab cakes and I got a ribeye. Dinner was delicious as well as quite reasonably priced, and the service was great. We also really enjoyed the general ambiance of the restaurant. We didn't get any drinks this time but the bar area looked incredible as well. We will certainly be repeat customers.“
