I ordered a cortado, to get a baseline on their coffee. I enjoyed it, though their espresso leans fruity. Not sure if the cashier was having an off day/was sick, but felt she was a bit short and acted bothered when I asked questions. The atmosphere is where this coffee shop lacks. It feels cold and industrial, with coolers in the middle of the dining room that make it feel more like a gas station than a cozy coffee shop. Stacks of cardboard boxes in plain sight. Meh. I stumbled across Grounded on GrubHub a few months ago. I'd never heard of them but it was adventure day so I tried their Big Stuff breakfast burrito. It's a simple yet hearty burrito stuffed with all the goodness of breakfast. I have since ordered this item at least two times a week and have never been disappointed. I've tried several other items like that Hoop Cheese biscuit and while they are good, I keep going back to the burrito. Grounded is super consistent...

Really fun place for coffee and pastries with sandwiches. Lots of funny plaques and bags for sale. A big bunch of gluten-free and vegan options. Friendly and helpful staff and lots of comfy places to sit.
