We were looking for a first-class restaurant within reasonable driving distance of New Bern, N.C. Main and Mill looked promising online. Wow, what a gift! A very pleasing ambience. Immediate prompt, knowledgeable and friendly service. Excellent cocktails and wine. And then one of the most delicious meals we have had in recent weeks. Without a doubt, we will happily travel the 30 miles again in the near future to again experience Main and mill.
I went to Main and Mill on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 for a birthday dinner and it was a great experience! The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the server was polite and attentive. I had the fried oyster Poboy and Mashed Sweet Potatoes! I even had a piece of Key Lime cheesecake for dessert. I will definitely return to this restaurant and I recommend it to anyone who lives in the area or is visiting the area!
Zeke was awesome! Appetizers were delicious, we purchased devil eggs with the fried shrimp jalapeño pepper on top and fried oysters. Entree catfish plate and Grits and shrimp. Nice atmosphere and we were with an awesome couple.
