I would only recommend taking your bikes to these guys. I had a special situation with an e-bike & needed the breaks bled asap…After drop off not even an hr went by and I was called to come pick it back up…professional guys that offer good prices. Couldn’t be more pleased

We were having problems with the hydraulic brakes on one of the E-bikes we bought online. I called local bike shops for an appointment and all were at least a week out. When I reached Beer City Bikes they got me in the next day and bled the brakes for me. Brakes again lost pressure and now could see leakage at the line fitting to the levers. The E-bike company sent me new upgraded brakes, levers to pistons, and again Beer City got us in the next day to install. They called before closing that day to say the bike was ready to go. Great service, reasonable prices, and quick turnaround during peak season. Very knowledgeable staff and a pleasure to deal with. These guys know bikes. Will be a regular customer!!

I took two bikes in for a tune-up and I was on a bit of a time crunch in hopes of using them on an upcoming trip. Frank diagnosed my bikes’ issues in 2 seconds and had both of them tuned and cleaned by the next day. He was nice enough to share some wisdom and bike maintenance tips as well. Can’t recommend enough!

Excellent shop and quality people! Highly recommend! I’m a local cyclist and have been riding for over 35 years. Frank and Matthew never try to up-sell you on items and turn around repairs/maintenance either on the same day or the following day (worst case). Frank has always come through for me on difficult repairs like a seized up front axle or repairs from when the chain was wedged in between the frame and front cog due to crash. A recent example…I had a screw on my water bottle cage break off during ride, Frank was able to figure out a way to back the screw out without damaging the carbon frame, which saved me having to ship the frame off for a costly repair. Sales and service…I have also purchased a Cervelo Aspero from them and they were very competitive on price and they were great to work with.

Highly recommend stopping if you are in Asheville.
